Cool, like the black
it is compatible with an inCharge?
Nice! The same price of a Nintendo Wiimote, but already including Motion Plus. Very nice.
Actually, anybody that owns a Wii, knows that this it sorta fail, lmao. I say this because some games actually tell you to pull out the motion plus module before you can play so...enjoy, lol.
@Plazmic Flame
And I'm sure that before Nyko knows that too; they probably do some research before releasing something like this.. There's probably a disable/enable button.
@Plazmic Flame: I haven't run into a game that's told me to remove the Motion Plus. Not even New Super Mario Bros. Wii nor older games, like the original Wii Sports. Which game is asking you this, Plazmic?
@Plazmic Flame Nah, you're wrong. The WMP doesn't affect games that don't use it. Some games tell you to remove the nunchuk, but not WMP.
Anyone thought Nintendo should have done this day one on W+ release? I'll but this 1st
Nice. Makes more sense than Natal. Natal kills off the accessory ecosystem entirely. (And probably can't precisely sense finger positions for trigger pulls, guitar chording, etc. anyway.)
Personally, it's worth the extra $20 to have something that doesn't look terrible. Not a fan of the "square" factor in this one.
I like the price and I love the compactness, but this thing is so terribly ugly.
for a second there, i thought it said wang on the remote lol
the black one looks grimy and icky....
That thing is ugly as hell! IMO
...The way Nintendo should've done it all along. Also, if Nyko can do it... What'$ Nintendo is waiting for?
The possible catch is that the swordplay games in Wii Sports Resort are in part comfortable to play because the Wii Motion Plus makes the contraption longer, and thus possible to hold with two hands fairly comfortably. It may be OK without that extra length, but I'd have to try it.
But having said that, not having to put on and/or remove the WM+ (and it not being possible to misplace it!) is certainly a plus otherwise, and for games like NSMBW, where the WM+ just makes the right side a bit weird so you end up removing it, that would be a nice thing.
Looks good, I like the black color.
Next up Nintendo will do the exact same thing...... Give it a few months by this xmas nintendo will probably release an integrated controller.....
"In addition to those fancy gryoscopes, the Wand+ has a matte rubberized back and rubberized buttons that are pretty comfortable to the touch"
*gyroscopes, maybe?
Sort of off topic, but I have never been able to get the new Engadget picture gallery to work...I've tried Chrome, Firefox and IE and it doesn't seem to work in any of them. I click on a picture below an article and that one will load with the gallery, but when I click on another picture from the gallery it doesn't do anything. Anyone have any ideas?
Good idea, nintendo should've already done this but they probably just want to soak as much as they can out of the add on before releasing the better version, that's what they always do.
I just hope its good, third party controllers have a tendency to suck. I have never seen a third party gamecube controller that even came close to the quality of the official nintendo ones.
looks like the D-Pad is larger too.
Stupid wiimote was designed for kids... yet the games the make are for adults... i just don't get it.
they had the d-pad the right size with the NES... why go smaller?
