Samsung's camcorders and one big dummy camera at CES

Right after seeing the ultra-slim TVs we went to the other end of Samsung's CES booth for its camcorder lineup. As expected, we saw the previously-announced S series SSD models, the F series with 52x optical zoom and the stylish C series, but we also spotted what appears to be a refresh of the HMX-U10 camcorder brick. Admittedly, we were more interested in this dummy gigantic TL225 camera, and it wasn't even new.

Look at all the nerds in that photo!
@technotechie haha that is an awesome pic strong bad
@technotechie LOL. You big bully, picking on the dweebs.
Who cares? If I go to a Walmart, Sears, Best Buy, or any other store I have a one in two chance of the models not working to check out. After reading the below, I have no idea who to blame. Is it the manufacturer with lower quality of goods that has them breaking down, the retailers, or what? When they start bragging on how GREEN they are, I'd like to send them a bill and carbon debit for having to drive from store to store. Maybe those balloon chasing guys at MIT can use their skills to determine where the working displayed units are. Just pretend it is an exercise in finding food after an earthquake. HA HA HA

Are they running out of new ideas for point and shoot cameras?
