What do you get when you cross an Energizer
EnergiToGo portable charger with a hand crank? If you answered the Yogen Charger for Life, you'd be correct. Easy Energy is demoing the battery-less battery charger, and sadly for us, it didn't work exactly as advertised. While the other demo models seemed to be working without a hitch, when we started pulling the rip cord, instead of getting a lightning bolt indicating that our BlackBerry Tour was charging, we got a reboot. It's probably an isolated incident, as every other device we tried worked, but we'd be doing you, our trusted reader, a disservice if we didn't let you know.
I have seen that thing long time ago. Why do they always show the same thing all over again after a while...
@(Unverified)
because they didn't find some big company to invest in them over the year. so here we are again!

All this has happened before, and all this will happen again.
They should have put this in a yo-yo instead.
Cool, looks good for travel.
Sounds like a nice way to kill two birds with one stone during a fapping session to me.
Ya I know It is strangely familiar
@L1F3
Okay, your comment flowed too well with s2mo's above.
Now everyone can get babies to play with this, when in reality the babies are charging devices!!! YAY!!!
@Murphys Law Finally... a use for larvae. They can finally contribute to the society that they leech from! Brilliant!
@s2m0
I must admit that your fapping idea was quite good too :)
@Murphys Law I think the only implementation we have left is attaching this device to a woman's mouth. Talk about generating some hardcore power. (No pun intended.) Hook that baby up to the grid system!
@s2m0
You know, i actually found someone that i can completely agree with over the interwebz. Today was a good day :)
@Murphys Law :D Good times.
This is an awesome device for this year. It looks cool.
Now some of the fat couch potatoes may drop a few pounds (myself included) Huff Puff Huff Puff
make it round like a yoyo and I'm all over it.
This thing needs a kevlar ripcord and id buy it...
I have one of these, ordered it right off when it was available. Sadly the inability to keep a steady charge going it kinda messes with the software on the phone. My N900 thought it was still being charged after I unplugged it. Found it works best when the phone is off. Gonna try it on my Nexus One today if my batt dies :)
Looks like a lot of pulling is needed to charge up w/ this thing.
And whats w/ the blood and cuticle display? I tell you... CES is going to the dogs!
I would rather have a portable Baygen charger. You wind it up for a couple mins and it runs for 30 mins. Much easier way to charge something.
Im sure wanking will be looked upon as gettin into shape to pull ur Yogen to keep your mobile charged up..
Now if they'd only integrate a Fisher Price See 'n Say into it, they'd have something. Pull the string and hear:
"The Cow goes MOOOOOOOOOO..."
I'll bet it's a lot of fun trying to get one of those through airport security these days.
@Soho88
Traveler: You just pull the rip cord and Blammo! Free power!
TSA: Sir, have you seen our new full-length body scanners?
