Status of the tru2way cable rollout: Still disappointing
Podcast listeners have already heard about the lack of tru2way presence at this year's CES, but the rollout at headends across the country is still continuing, slowly. Cable Digital News has rounded up the results for your perusal, but aside from Cox at 100%, they fall in line under various levels of fail, more than six months after the original deadline. So much for "not that far off."

Very interesting that the article mentions Comcast using Tivo as its "primary" DVR in some upcoming market. I hadn't heard about that anywhere in Tivo's press, here or on Gizmodo.

Ok, the Cable cos are building tru2way, but has anyone come to the party? There was a Panasonic Plasma available in 3 or 4 markets, but just one set, one screen size.
Any other companies? Sony? Samsung? Anyone? Is the Panasonic still being made or just the 12 that they shipped?

It's time to stop letting the greedy police themselves on this ----. FCC I'm giving you the power to regulate them. Set a date, and if they miss it, fine them out of existence!
