3 Sweden says it's getting HTC Bravo in March
If you were hoping for a little more Sense with your Nexus One, you might want to keep your sights set on the late part of the first quarter or the early part of the second. That leaked roadmap from a while back had the so-called Bravo pegged for April, a phone that would ultimately form the basis of the Nexus One -- at least in hardware specification -- but 3 Sweden's official Facebook page made mention this week of a March launch. The combination of Snapdragon, a 3.7-inch AMOLED display, a 5 megapixel camera, and a full Android 2.1-based implementation of HTC's Sense UI is a juicy thought indeed, and we can't imagine that such a beast would only launch on 3. Since T-Mobile USA's taking a pass on offering the Nexus One in stores, perhaps this is the version they've been waiting for?

Um, one problem. The Bravo doesn't have Sense. Look back on the leaked roadmap. HTC Sense is not listed in the special features list like it is for the HTC Buzz.
@Zaggs For one, the render on this article and the render in the actual leaked roadmap show the Sense UI.
Secondly, the HTC Bravo minus the Sense UI is basically equal to a Nexus One.
@Taknarosh I will say +1 in addition to voting you up. Ya dig?
Also, the roadmap pic of the Bravo is more fly than this render. VZW FTW
The sooner it comes out the better. I just wish HTC would have a Bravo Pro with a keyboard and no kind of G1 or Droid chin anywhere.
Sign me up, thx.
VZW, you know what to do!
I like the look of this better than the Nexue one. I just don't like a trackball on a touch phone, there's basically no need for it if the touch screen is accurate.
@Ezye1313
Actually with widgets loaded on multiple screens, it starts to make sense for people that are wearing gloves and would like to see information with out having to take their gloves off...
That's what I've been using it for with my Hero.
I picked up the Eris as a stop-gap until my ideal Android phone comes out. That was the Nexus One ... until I saw this.

AT&T. Exclusive HTC device anyone.
If this is the case, I am DEFINITELY getting one.
AT&T. "Exclusive" HTC device anyone?
If this is the case, I am DEFINITELY getting one. I'm REEEELY hoping when AT&T gets their HTC devices at least one of them is a "next-gen" device.
i would say "c'mon sprint!" but that would just be wasted breath.....*sigh*
definitely verizon... which is why they wont sell the nexus one in stores, because they're going to sell this one (with sense)...
@mulda71 How is it definitley Verizon? T-Mobile is doing that exact same thing. I think AT&T has a high chance of getting this phone as well because they've yet to announce a high-end Android phone and supposedly have 3 HTC phones coming.
Didn't you guys originally say the Bravo would have 720p video recording? Obviously the Nexus one does not...if the still cam is only 5MP I doubt this will have it either. Stupid product, the Snapdragon CPU can handle so much more like HDMI out (at LEAST 720p, probably 1080p), 720p video capturing, DLNA, fm transmitter, Wifi N....
I understand you can't include EVERY chip feature into one product, but come on now, the OmniaHD has been out for over a year now almost and it has been able to do 720p video all along...the framerate is not very good, but hey it was a decent attempt.
@(Unverified) Nexus One does have 720 recording.
@SParklingCYaNide
Wrong!!!!!
It does NOT. It can *PLAY* 720p h.264 encoded video, not record.
@SParklingCYaNide
Just confirmed -- the Nexus One can only record D1 (aka 480p -- 720x480) resolution video at a shitty 20FPS. 2 year old phones can do that at 30 FPS. Yawn.
What is that dot on the bottom center? Is it supposed to be a scroll ball? If so it looks pretty small. Looks nicer than the n1
I just checked with 3Sweden (I live in sweden so...) and they say that it is all, a big missunderstanding. They had said to a swedish magazin that they may be interested in selling a HTC Bravo when/if it will be released.
@iolle93 I suspect they're covering their tracks!
What US carriers will this be able to run on (3G).....I need this phone!
