You know, having to lug a camera around while diving just spoils the fun, not to mention the slight chance that you'll also need your hands to fend off some underfed sharks. Chinavasion may have solved this problem with its $116.99 Underwater Scuba Mask Camera, which sports a snorkel plus 4GB of storage, and does 1280 x 960 for both still pictures and videos -- pretty impressive resolution for the latter, although picture quality and frame rate remain a secret. Operation is also seemingly easy -- rub the magnetic ring for one second for a picture or two seconds for a video, then the mask vibrates accordingly to confirm capture. You best be feeling photogenic, Flipper!

@Dr Yusuf AlKindi Skymall isn't cutting edge. I thought of them immediately upon seeing this, but the fact that it's "5MP camera can operate to a depth of 15'" kinda makes it useless for diving. These masks can go to 30 meters, so roughly 90 feet! Nice.

*Snorkel
Someone needs to make an underwater camera with no holes for connectors or charging. Use inductive charging and WiFi to dump pictures. All of these things will end up leaking otherwise. It should be easy now to make a camera that is completely totally sealed and leak-proof.
3D shutter glasses sure are ugly.
It also lets you tube.
I guess the quality of the footage is so bad, so better not to take it.
Good idea, but there are better helmet cams out there for about the same $$$

Picture quality is not a secret if you read the specs: 1 Megapixel. Maybe this should be filed under crapgadgets instead!

the only downside is that you look like more of a dork than you would otherwise. i mean, it's still scuba gear, and regular scuba gear looks pretty silly as is. come on, you know it's true
