HP EliteBook 2740p tablet due out this Spring?

HP announced quite the slew of EliteBooks and ProBooks at CES earlier this month, but it looks like it might still have a few more announcements to make in the near future. If this rather unassuming notice (on a high school website of all places) is to be believed, it seems that HP may be on track to release a new EliteBook 2740p tablet sometime in the Spring of this year. Unfortunately, there's nothing in the way of any actual details, but it does seem likely that the device is a long overdue followup to HP's 2730p tablet, and possibly a more business / education-minded version of the company's recently announced TouchSmart tm2 tablet.

Business Grade Computers usually have more options, such as faster processors, RAID configurations, extended warranties, etc. Not to say that some home computers don't have these options either, but If you try to configure a dell with RAID that's not either an alienware or in the business category, it will generally cost you more, if its even possible.

Not to mention that some business workstations can double as entry level servers, something home comptuers CAN do but aren't supported to do so.

@JeremyBenthem Build quality also differs, wich is why I'm so happy with the 2730p as opposed the tx2000.

I've been looking forward to a new model in the series - just hoping the dock and batteries will still fit/work.

I know I'm in the minority here in that I prefer to stay on-topic rather than babbling about a bunch of nonsensical garbage, but I'm actually interested in this tablet refresh, seeing as how the 2730p was one of the nicest pieces of hardware in recent years.

i just hope they put in more than 2 usb ports this time .. :( one can dream..
