@(Unverified) You are wrong! I am due for a new Phone in the next 9 months. I am considering and Android based device but have an iPod-touch so moving to an iPhone would be the natural change. If they make this move I will not purchase an iPhone! I switched to Apple because I HATE Microsoft. Brand avoidance is an issue. Furthermore, I like Google and I am loyal to google.

You're loyal to Apple.. and/or Anti Microsoft-anything. If you were loyal to google, you would be "seriously" considering an Android device. or would already be using one.. Away with your Anti Microsoft Pro Apple lunacy!
I swear sometimes I think we need another World War to weed out morons that actually feel the most pressing cause in their lives is their choice of search engines.
@palemoonrises If you don't like Bing when they change it then just switch back to google. Not using a product because you don't like what the company is very closed minded though, use what works for you, not what you are loyal to. Brand loyalty is a very stupid concept.
@Danny I find I get better results on Bing than I do on Google.
I'm convinced that most people think Google is best simply because of an emotional attachment to the minimalist homepage, and a general dismissal of anything Microsoft releases. I'm no MS fanboy, but I really think if more people gave Bing a real shot (as opposed to a "haha let's see how bad this is" shot) they'd discover it's actually really good.
@Danny they better at least have a choice, i can't stand bing...i gave it a chance and was disappointed by it, i guess they will just force me to use the google app instead of safari to do searches
@Danny Bing hasn't given me any good results, but that is probably because I am used to using Google. I do like the presentation of Bing on the desktop more.
Actually, they already give you a choice between Google and Yahoo.. With what i'm understanding from this article, it seems that Bing would just be added as the "Default", anyone who doesn't want it, should still be able to go in and change back to google or yahoo.

The new FiOS HD DVR, arguably the biggest update since Verizon released a DVR, thanks to its external storage support, enhanced multi-room functionality and slick new 16x9 HD user interface.

Oh god. Google >>>>>>>> Bing. End of discussion.
@Danny
I disagree. Most people dont care enough to have brand loyalty & Bing to its credit is good enough for most general searches.

@Danny i disagree too. be realistic, they are like the same. i use google search sometimes, i use bing sometimes, theres like no difference.
Let apple have Bing. Maybe this will mean Android can finally get that multitouch we've all been reading (read imagining) about.
