Food Network, HGTV are back on Cablevision
It took three weeks, but Scripps & Cablevision have settled their differences, allowing Food Network and HGTV to return to New York area cable customers this afternoon. Both sides had plenty of tough talk New Year's Day when the channels disappeared, but all that's faded into the general "we're glad to be back on" PR-speak. Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed but we hear Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri will be suiting up for the Knicks tonight, which could explain the lengthy negotiations.

Thank GOD! My wife was about to leave me for whomever had Food Network. I had no options other than Dish/DirecTV and I didn't want to have to run new cables in my home.
Cablevision is still around?
thanks made my day .
Still no BBCA....
What I want is fucking bloomberg in the cable package.
Fuck food network
@R V
Bloomberg is on Channel 105 on Optimum (aka: Cablevision) in my area
Foodchannel??? Are you kidding me? A channel for house wives that can't cook. Cablevision should cancel this program. Monthly bill will go up 3%. Boooooooooooo
Ya they own that little buliding in NYC called MSG and both teams that play there the Rangers and Knicks and have the best Internet service in the tristate area but for TV service they are ok. They take way too long to add HD channels and other service like ESPN360.
I wish the Kungfu HD and Monsters HD channels would be put back on.
