@Jon Rubinstein
I hope Palm will release a webOS pillowcase, no kidding. It will be awesome, sleeping on the cloud.
The more I hear/read about the Palm Pre (especially the Plus), the more I am impressed by it.
I was seriously set on going Android, but if I get onto my girlfriend's cell plan (Verizon), I might go Pre Plus instead.
I haven't messed with this phone too much, but the only thing that I dislike about it so far is the fact that the keyboard is so tiny - I think for any vertical keyboard, it should be a SureType layout like the BB Pearl so each key is like 2x the size.
@yulebellow - You are a good man :)
The image posted is one of a dummy phone. No one has even got inventory of these phones yet.
@Thinker rofl
@feyded1020 - thanks. One of my less "heavy" moments and engagement in dialectics :)
What is the difference between the Pre and the Pre Plus? Will those features ever reach the Pre on Sprint?
Oh Great, 2 more products the sales people at best buy will have no clue about. Do people actually shop there, other than relatives of the underpayed students that they employ - just to see jr at his job?
the phone pictured is a mock phone! Ahahaaha
And here I was about to buy a palm pre next week.
I might as well wait until this beauty comes to the UK
I love engadget but can't stand any fanboy crap and people that up-rank them. Both sides just spew crap out of their asses. I bought stock in palm and really hope they do well as we need more competition. But for consumers that come to engadget you should also know that Apple made an incredible piece of hardware with the iphone and a rather crippled software. However, for multitiask critics check this video out:

Good luck to all of the companies and for goodness sake don't make your purchase decision based on the fanboy comments.
thats some run of the mill multitasking... LOL. Whats happens when u get notifications? Thats a no go Krypton. WebOS is the best at mutlitasking. Nice try though.
@zig8100
i'm not sure why you say that. When I get a txt or calendar event or other push notification it comes on without any problems whether I run one program or six. I can even reply to the text without leaving the program I'm currently in.
For evidence look up "quickreply iphone" on youtube. There are many videos of that so your argument does not hold.
@zig8100
I guess I really don't understand what you mean by "run of the mill multitasking". If I get an e-mail or I need to copy txt from safari to facebook app, I just switch over to the app that I need using card like interface without closing the program I'm in. Then I switch back to exactly where I left. This is exactly the multitasking that other phones are touting. The big difference is that apple did not allow this into the original OS and yes I had to go to the outside community of software writers to bring this function to iphone.
