PSP Go disassembled in awesome stop motion video
Oh sure, we've seen Sony's UMD-hatin' PSP Go splayed before, but never like this. Call us crazy, but we're calling stop motion video the future of unboxings and tear downs. Seriously -- this is one wild two minute ride that you simply have to take. Peek the video after the break, won't you?

that was sick nasty awesome!
@laxic
One does concur!
@laxic
See that Apple? removable battery with a =CONNECTOR= and not some stupid ass soldered wires...
F-U Apple..
F-U Monster cables...
@laxic OMG geek pr0n!
@Phreakazoid "Geek pr0n" just sounds like a couple of scientists doing it up against a 100" reflector.
...which is the kind of porn I've been looking for my whole adult life!
I felt like I was watching a Peter Gabriel music video
@laxic A very impressive video, it kind of made me think about how fan-inspired vids are starting to attract the attention of gamers. Thinking about PS3's crashing to a Bravia TV is awesome as well. Video: http://cli.gs/ps3-crashes-hd-bravia-video
Some people have a lot of time on their hand.
@TruUnknowN and a LOT more on the other!!
@TruUnknowN
This isn't something TechRestore just did because they didn't have anything better to do. It's basically a really good ad for their repair services. If they can make a stop-motion video in which they completely dissect a PSPgo to its smallest pieces and put it back together again and it still works like new... they can probably also fix your stuff.
@streetstealth
I agree... but to play devil's advocate, we don't know that they put it back together. Run the video and reverse and it *looks* like you put it back together. Just sayin'. :-P
@(Unverified)
If you watch the video, it shows the tech actually putting it back together. Just sayin'.
How can this be?!?!? You guys didn't post the iPhone disassembly from the same guys?!?! Come on Murph. Engadget posting rule 1a clearly reads, Apple in title = fanboy fights that leads to clicks and $$$.
You're on probation.
Sorry man.
@FNG Even though I'm an Apple fanboy, I have to admit this is pretty funny and true. XD
wow!
Autobots Roll out!
@Alexicov Your comment in conjunction with having literally just read this made me choke on my drink. http://www.textsfromlastnight.com/Text-Replies-9377.html
I really enjoyed seeing this. The sound effects were excellent touches to a stop motion video, which already makes it fairly impressive
@Lucas I agree, and this makes it easy for any DIYers not satisfied by just viewing, they get a step-by step to go!
Where's Gumby?
Really cool. This is how all breakdowns should go.
I came.
@hogwash
...and I thought I was a geek.
No geek-asm for me. :(
Where was the kill switch.
@realar
They left out the second joystick for compatibility, then forgot they put the kill switch inside of it. :D
I'm surprised they posted the PSP Go instead of this

Stop motion FTW.
So I saw a 2D Barcode at around 1:24, first person to figure out what it means gets 100 Internets.
@JestaMcMerv I can't claim any internets for myself but i'll help out the cause. The numbers above and below the barcode are
top LQ038T3LXQ1(i think, it's hard to see if its a 1)
bottom 01C05Q4883
I have got to save that video for when i'm drunk
Reminds me of taking my PS3 apart. lol
that sort of choppy stop motion always reminds me of PEE WEE"S PLAYHOUSE, not saying it was bad it was very good.
Cool vid and the PSP go finally drop to a $200 price. Now $hut up and buy one.
USE the force
damn
Dear Sony,
I have a design that I think is better that this hunk of crap. I will send it to you tonight.
Yours Truly,
SonyLoverboy16
That is awesome!
They have same stop motion video for iPhone 3GS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsfP8GWOR8s
this is as close as anyone's going to see a PSPgo because no one is buying them, lol...
Rather impressive.
Definitely the awesomest disassembly video I have ever seen
That was splifferific spectacular on the hardware snoop patrol.
nice
I respect the effort it took to make the video, but nothing comes close to the Hackintosh Xbox Pro video... nothing!
http://www.tuaw.com/2009/11/26/os-xbox-pro-is-the-hottest-hackintosh-ever/
Umm, no. The disassembly and reassembly look completely different. The latter is zoomed out and hands are seen in action.
A simple rewind is not enough. But that's not to say they hadn't took zoomed out pictures with hands while disassembling and used that in reverse order!
I wish they would do a video on heart surgery in stop motion like that
That was so awesome!
