This was one of the best implementations of WinMo 6.1. Which doesn't say much for WinMo.. I still use it.. until the Pre is available on GSM
This phone is still on there website...

The Treo Pro was a great phone and Palm really fucked up by not advertising / getting providers, to distribute the device enough.
it was almost invisible on the market, and i think many people did not realize how many features it had.
Now you can also FLASH ROMS on the treo pro.. making it even better.
although its a bit late... wms only tie over is TP2 and .. well waiting. I myelf a WM user am kinda sad and am interestered in switching to Nokias n900....
what do you think?
@(Unverified) I did the same thing its a good move I do miss some things about my treo pro though, like 1 hand operation, winodws mobile wifi router, garmin GPS, and googlemaps and it was a good deal thinner than the n900, but the n900 is stil a great phone too. It is sad to see the treo pro just up and disappear.
Sexier than the Pixi...
I just got mine two months ago from Sprint and it was the ONLY phone I liked that didn't cost 300 plus dollars. I am and always will be a windows user and the ease of getting content on and off plus the wifi was the selling point for me. I also have an app to use it to tether my netbook if I have to. Until something better comes out I will stick to this.
Does anyone smell a Webos Treo for enterprise on the way? I'm thinking Sprint.
@antmelnat That would be pretty cool. I really liked the Pre when I tried it (with the exception of no operational abilities when wearing gloves, a HUGE deal for me) and having WebOS wouldn't cause me to yell "Foul!" at all. WebOS is a REALLY nice OS for sure.
I'm so happy they d'cd it, I had it, it was a wonderful phone but I have a pre and a pixi now and miss the treo platform. The pixi is more a centro replacement, it's just not on par with the pre, and I have been told many times by both palm and sprint that the treo pro was getting a redesign with gesture area, pre internals and webos and couldn't be happier, and my guess is that it will be the c40 and released a day before apple has their yearly coming out party lol
The REAL story here is this probably marks the last point in time that PalmInfoCenter will be the center of any real Palm information.
Not that it's even been that over the last couple of years, but oh well.
