HTC Bravo spotted again, looking as real as ever
Now that we're being blessed with our second in-the-wild shot of the alleged HTC Bravo, we're just going to go ahead and call it: this Nexus One-alike is almost certainly real. Of course, there are a couple key differences against its Google-sponsored cousin -- first you've got the optical pad (or so it seems) in place of a trackball, and perhaps more importantly, Sense makes its Android 2.1 debut. Apart from a quickly-retracted remark from 3 Sweden that we'd see this in March, we don't really have any intel on when (or where) this'll drop, but hey, it's looking pretty production-ready to us.

Would really like this to be released on VZ
@chriset Yes, like immediately.
@chriset
I love how Engadget posts a new phone spyshot and everyone is always release on [carrier]. Not saying I'm not guilty but it's amusing.
T-Mobile! Oh wait..
@chriset
Nah, I'm glad that the Nexus One is coming our way. this phone doesn't look that great (aesthetically speaking)
Wow HTC you guys are really going at it in 2010 aren't ya? I'm definitely not complaining!
@sfox8
You act like they didn't push the envelope in 2009?
They are going to release a minimum of 6 new phones per year every year between WinMo & Android. And that's great for consumers as hardware increases to improve steadily throughout each year.
Unlike certain fruit companies which only put out a single option and the "take it or leave it" mentality.
This better go to AT&T.. Sorry dudes on other carriers, but we NEED this (especially considering all we have to look forward to so far is the dell mini 3 and the motorola dumbflip).
The HTC Bravo is going to be coming also to T-Mobile USA, its the reason they didn't carry the Nexus One in their Stores.
Cannot wait to play with it even tho I have my Nexus One.
@SParklingCYaNide
There aren't any confirmed reports of that yet. The only thing we know is it might be going to t-mobile outside of the US, which doesn't really have anything to do what what goes on inside the US. We're all just going to have to sit here with our buttcheeks clenched until it passes through the fcc.
@jroff True but its very likely. A lot of insiders have speculated this to happen.
@SParklingCYaNide
look where all the apple speculation led
@SParklingCYaNide It won't be for T-Mobile because releasing a slightly different variant of a phone T-Mobile already has is redundant.
And you can argue with me that Google is selling the phone on their own, but I think otherwise because you're still locked into either TM or VZ in the states. Unlocked is just the TM version, well, unlocked.
Can't get too excited about this after seeing the Supersonic, to be honest.
@(Unverified)
Nope, me neither. It seems dwarfed in comparrison to that beast. After seeing the HD2, it's all about the supersonic for me now.
why does google translate always screw up the format of websites..
What the fuck? @jroff, what the flying fuck? Why do you feel like you have to be a bitch and be loyal to AT&T? Why do you feel like you have to be their BITCH? Why do you feel like you have to suck their dick? Step up and be a ****in man, if you see a phone out there that you real like and really want then be a man and GRAB IT, GET IT ok? If you want some nice smartphones then change your fuckin provider. Pay the fuckin ETF of only $200 and get yourself a nice phone that you'll be content with. AT&T's prices are garbage, go switch to Sprint or T-Mo. MAYBE, and that's a small chance, that you haven't switched to T-Mob and the fastest 3G network in the US because they don't have 3G where you are. And that's if you have 3G where you are with AT&T who's 3G coverage is also garbage, as is their network, not as good as T-Mo's now, neither are their prices. Screw Verizon, they're just as wack, horrible prices and slow EV-DO 3G. Sprint also uses EV-DO and dumbass CDMA but atleast they're getting close to WiMAX, which is still 3G and not 4G but it's an improvement over EV-DO, but it's just a little better if at all than 7.2mpbs HSPA and not better than HSPA+. T-Mo already has the fastest 3G network in the nation with 7.2mbps HSPA and will have HSPA+ across their entire 3G network by the end of this year, gonna be amazing.
Seriously dude, just switch carriers and get your mouth out of Vega's pants ok?
@marik1234 Nurse!
@marik1234
Settle down, Beavis.
T-Mo has the fastest CAPACITY, but when have you hit 7.2? I know I haven't. The speedtest.net app I have says my HSPA connection is about 1mbps max in Baltimore (T-Mo, Nexus One), which is supposed to have 7.2. On Sprint (which is what I had up until 1/6) I could easily hit 2mbps or higher at pretty much all times (Touch Pro, EVDO Rev A).
Let the guy like AT&T if he wants to, why is that putting your balls in a knot?
@Level 5
you realise that all these quoted speeds, be it 3.6Mbps, 7.2Mbps, 21Mbps, whatever... are ALL ***theoretical*** speeds... in the real world, these are NEVER achieved, doesn't matter how good the network is... those quoted speeds are true only in a test lab scenario... which is why I think they are bunk... total false advertising...
@Level 5
Exactly. I can count on one hand the number of times a day I'm with out AT&T's 3G connection, and when I do have 3G, I consistently pull down 2.x mbps according to speed test.
another piece of HTC junk... yawn... I had a Nexus, and liked it, but has battery problems... dealing with HTC's customer support - or should I say lack thereoff - has turned me off their products for good....
@micanuck
that was a google phone made by HTC and not supported by HTC but by Google.
@micanuck
That was Google's fault.
I've owned HTC phones for years and they have always been awesome.

The Bravo looks like one of the most exciting Android phones to date. I think the Bravo will turn up in the US on Verizon network, renamed the Passion.
The sense UI is gorgeous but when i had the HTC Hero what annoyed me is how slow HTC are in upgrading the Android system. I'd rather get a phone with the stock Android.
Looks good though.
Virgin Mobile in the UK have the Bravo coming in March/April, according to their shop. HTC Buzzz due in around the same time.
I think the Incredible is the Verizon version of the Bravo..
I kinda like this color better than the final production one...
