Yeah ... BUT, - where's the camera for iChat? - where's the (SD, CF, Express Card/34) card reader for photos / video loading and memory expansion? - another $40 additional for iPad specific iWork programs? - what's the point of iPad specific Keynote if there is no display out port? - another separate $29.99 unlimited data plan to your existing iPhone unlimited data plan? (what is more than "unlimited"?, super-unlimited"?) - when there is no 3G service does it go to Edge network or just not work? - what are we supposed to do in 07/10 when 4G rolls out? - it'll be 04/10 by the time these roll out, add three more ... and it'll be outdated by iPad 1.5 GHz / 128 GB / 4GS with rollover from your EXISTING ATT iPhone plan
1) No company releases their best product in the first iteration: Business 101 2) 30-pin dock connector adapter for SD cards 3) Development of apps isn't free 4) 30-pin dock adapter to connect to another screen (will output 720p) 5) It's month-to-month, not a 2-year contract. Plus, you don't have to own an iPhone to get the contract. Plus, only pay for it when you need it. 6) It should roll back to EDGE. That's how the GSM standard is defined. 7) There won't be a 4G iPad for a while. No shipping chips are available for OEMs to use. Plus, first-gen stuff always sucks a bunch of power. It's just not Apple's style. 8) Technology will always be outdated. Be happy with what you purchase, not what you AREN'T getting. If you're always waiting, you'll never be happy with what's right in front of you.
@Jeff Kibuule Fool, it has a Dock Connector to VGA output, so you can connect it to a projector at a resloution of 1024x768, which is okay for a presentation.
@samirotiv Thanks didn't know about the dock to VGA, but then again, that'll be another $50 adaptor that I will have no use for in about 1 yr as an apple fan, I've got plenty of "apple" only adaptors that I paid $50-100 for over the years and have no use for any more (remember the ADC to DVI + power cable idiocy) don't need a whole bag full of secondary iPad only dock accessories when my powerbook 17 does just fine
The Cobra Tag may help you win that losing battle, acting as a Bluetooth device that attaches to your key ring and connects to your phone, it gives you the opportunity to find the missing item if it's less than 30 feet away.

@Jeff Kibuule
Apple.com says it will only ouput 576i/p 480i/p. Even my Zune HD can output 720p
@Missing Matter
Yeah...what is up with 576p anyway? Is that some sort of crazy Euro standard or something.
