Actually the only place I hear about the damn thing is when I come to Igadgetcom to read some news. Its not overly hyped up very much anyplace else.
Looking forwards to getting a HP Tm2 tho and using everything I already own on it. unlike the Ipad where everything must be repurchased I even doubt the ability to port over your apps from the Iphone to it thus having to repurchase those as apps as well. This Ipad will suck so many peoples money away :(
@JJ I heard some guy from Wired talking about it immediately after the press conference on NPR. Some Intel guy called in and talked about how they failed when they tried to produce a device like this. (I don't know if he was talking about UMPCs or what). Then some guy called in wondering if he could expand the storage with an external USB drive (The Wired guy said yes). Finally someone called in wondering if it had handwriting support.
@mgrochowalski Same way the Palm Foleo failed too. It's also a fail without external card/drive storage, and handles. Give it a charm loop (aka strap loop), so at least people can make it trendy, but already violates the one-hand usage rule that would make it truly portable.
"I'm moving to a small studio and for some reason the cable connection is in an awkward place and I need a way to transmit HD quality video and audio no more than 20 feet away. What is the best wireless HDMI transmitter / receiver for this situation? Thanks!"

Good luck to everyone complaining about the iPad due to the massive hype. You're going to be hearing about this thing for the next few months.

@JJ
You'll be able to transfer apps over.
@Shokz
Thanks for correcting me, would have been a pain to repurchase already owned apps.
