DirecTV DVR Scheduler quietly arrives in the WebOS App Catalog
Just a few days after making debuting on the Android Market, DirecTV has unleashed its DVR Scheduler app for WebOS phones. No surprises here, the usual program guide searching (for everyone) and remote DVR scheduling features (DirecTV customers with the right set-top boxes only) are in effect for the rock bottom price of $0. We've got a few additional pictures of the app here, but it's just as simple to get on your Pre or Pixi so why not roll over to the App Catalog and hit that download button?

But the more important thing is that we now have Slacker Radio! It's stillin beta so it's not perfect yet. But it's a start.
Just tried this out... Took 5 secs for the record light to show on my box... Very nice!!
The Slacker Radio is nice. It loads so much faster than Pandora Radio. WebOS keeps getting better. In a couple of weeks full Flash support in browser!
I am really getting sick of the constant excuses from the DBSTalk folks (such as Stuart Sweet). There is absolutely no good excuse for the largest user base (Blackberry) being ignored by DirecTV. Pathetic...
Why is the WebOS version better than the android version?....hope an update is in the works....lol
