Once upon a time, a smattering of new HD channels in one major metropolitan area was a huge deal. Nowadays, it's almost expected that one area or another will experience some HD expansion each week. The site you're linking to for the Fox Soccer Channel HD post above copied the entire article from EPLTalk.com... without linking back or even mentioning the original source. I hate "news" sites or blogs that do that and you should correct the URL to give credit where credit is due.

Why would AT&T only add CNBC HD in Connecticut I thought that unlike cable U-Verse is programmed nationally so apart from locals every area should have the same channels on the same numbers, right?

I call BS on the Verizon FIOS rollout in NYC. They say Fresh Meadows, Queens is covered but I can tell you with certainty that it is not.
