N97 firmware update v21.0.045 ready to download

Get to it N97 owners. In addition to your free Ovi Maps, Nokia just let loose firmware version 21.0.045 that promises to improve call reliability and internet browsing while smoothing out the jumpiness some have seen with kinetic scrolling introduced in v20. It's available now via a Nokia Software Update tether if you just can't wait for it to be set free over the air. As always, let us know how it goes in the comments.

Correction to my earlier post .. Asian codes (eg Singapore) seem to be available now .. using NSU .. not Ovi-Suite

I'v been a happy nokia user for about ten years and bought the N97 last year. Iv been totally dissapointed ever since. here are some of my problems:

-not enough ram
-web browsing poor.
-widgets on homescreen often dont work
-ovi store contains many rubbish apps and often they dont work either
-crashes too much, had to hard-reset about 15times since i purchased it
-qwerty keyboard has poor tactile feedback
-outdated OS

i am eagerly awaiting either the new iphone or preferrably an android phone with similar spec to the HD2.

cant wait to throw the n97 away! good riddance
