Sony Ericsson Aspen caught on video, loving life with WinMo 6.5.3
Chances are we're missing something incredibly awesome being said in this foreign-language video, but we can probably guess what Mobile-review Sergey Kuzmin is saying: "I've got the Sony Ericsson Aspen and you don't. Life is grand." Okay, so maybe we're a little jealous, but at least he was kind enough to give us a brief look at the hardware out in the wild, showing off some of Windows Mobile 6.5.3's menus and sizing it up with some of Apple, Nokia, and RIM's offerings. Let's not waste any more time -- the video you seek is after the break.

What do you get when a Blackberry and a Motorola Q have a dirty nite together......
Man that thing is ugly! And I couldn't deal with that small screen. And of course its windows.....yuck all the way!
Looking at this, I'm not sure why anyone would choose Blackberry when they want this form factor. There are so many phones with both real keyboards and touchscreens, in addition to the expandability of Windows Mobile
Very elegant Phone.
Does anyone know if an official 6.5.3 upgrade is coming to the likes of HTC touch pro 2 ?
it looks like a square-cornered, WinMo'd E72. http://waywardtraveler.net/zs/aspen-e72.jpg
Looks a bit like Nokia E71,
I really like the design of this one.
The reviewer keeps repeating that these are pre-production units, and it's premature at this point to talk about the performance, responsiveness, and build quality etc, although he likes what he sees.
nice but it still needs more screen to replace my P1i
this phone looks quite nice
iit kinda still needs touchscreen =[
5 lovely minutes. Although IMO they could have done more with the screen size.
It's such a shame they didn't double the screen resolution on this phone. It has a solid form factor and a nicely shelled WM UI, but I can't get past the lack of screen real-estate. It's really surprising to me that supposed smart phones are still being released with QVGA screens in 2010. Even using this phone for business would be difficult if I needed to take a look at some Excel files or .pdf docs quickly. Unfortunately, these are the exact mistakes being made by SE management that are keeping them in this 'day late and a dollar short' rut.
Isn't Topolsky a Russian name? I would think Josh might have some experience with it.
Seems like a pretty nice phone.
It looks like the camera is disappointing.
3MP without autofocus & flash light...
I think i should stuck with my old P990.
