Hey, it's been a killer week, and we're about to podcast live -- won't you join us?

@DestrictoEnse Next time, try listening and chatting from www.ustream.tv/engadget -- you might have better luck there!
@DestrictoEnse Not much, really. It has the same audio and chat window, but maybe the different environment will fix your problems. Give it a shot...though I'm not sure if it'll help or not.
@DestrictoEnse Ustream chat is actually IRC as well - I'm mobile right now by the server info pretty easy to find.

@OsoOto Too early for comments, we're all still chattin'
we should sort out the comments issue... as in pro-actively put it to bed. i'd suggest a ratings sytem per user so the community self-moderates to an extent but with bayesian algorithms (kinda like how we teach our mail software to recognise spam... but in this case we are teaching the system to recognise idiot posters)... which would eventually lead to "some" people's posts being flagged and requiring approval if they have certain "keywords" in their posts... for example *cough* iPad. etc, etc.

New interface:
I hate the Office ribbon.
More awkward. Have to learn a new paradigm when the old one was perfectly acceptable, usable and familiar.
In the D conference (2007 - available as an iTunes podcast) which had Steve Jobs and Bill Gates being interviewed at the same time - Jobs talks about people not wanting a car with a joystick, etc. because it is familiar and the User does not have to spend time learning a new interface.
He also talks about the opportunity of new interfaces with the "post-pc devices" - eg iPod, Zune, iPhone.

Please Please Please post the podcast by ~11:00 AM tomorrow so I can have it before I go to work. Because of the iPhone's arbitrary 10MB 3G file limit, once I leave for work, I can't get the podcast till I get home again. That means no podcast for 12 long hours. That's unbearable.

@Q3Km518 You can always just click on the MP3 link and stream it over the air. Why hasn't the podcast been posted anyways?
