HTC Incredible caught on video rocking Snapdragon, Android 2.1 with Sense UI, and Verizon bands
The verdict's still out on whether or not it'll live up to its namesake, but the HTC Incredible is now officially out in the wild and surfing on Verizon's frequencies. Pocketnow managed to obtain a few details along with a batch of leaked photos and video, so here's what we're being told: Snapdragon processor, Android 2.1 with Sense UI, 256MB of RAM, optical mouse pointer, and dual LED flash for the camera. The screen's about 3.5 or 3.7 inches, WVGA resolution and possibly AMOLED. Traditionally shaky video reveal after the break.

That back is red.. Verizon RED. Back was taken with wierd light or flash too close.
Holy image stabilization, Camera Man! BE STILL!!!
meh, give us the SUPERSONIC please!!!
these low end mobiles do nothing for me.
Meh. After spying the HD2, nothing else measures up.
A computer without a keyboard isn't incredible; it's a joke.
The only HTC Android computers I'd consider buying are the Dream and the Espresso. No keyboard, no sale.

Someone is going to lose his job...
@hq
Yeah, I can't believe they were stupid enough to not only point the camera at it but read it out. Morons.
Ok dumb question the things at the bottom only on 1.6 and 2.1 or is there a way to put a call tabe on the droid
It looks dishwasher safe!!! lol This thing is fugggggly!!
720p video recording please???
If not, then just another meh phone.
EWW wtf is HTC thinking with the back cover design?? Did the blind design that phone for them?
Is it possible the scalloped back of the phone may be for better grip or finger placement? Almost looks like it could be ergonomic. But please get rid of the red....won't match any of my european man bags.
Here cooomes the Crimson Chin!
looks decent except for the hideous back panel... wtf??? all bulbous... lol
More spec. leaks on the HTC Supersonic and Incredible:
The CPU for the HTC Incredible and the HTC Supersonic is the new 32 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8650. Reported to be running at 13000 mhz! Both have 1024 mb ROM!
No AMOLED on either phone, Both have color transflective TFT.
Most interesting spec: the Supersonic will *only* have a WiMax 802.16e-2005 wireless chipset. No WiFi on the Supersonic!
The Incredible will WiFi, no Wimax,
You really have to wonder when you look at all these forums. There are a lot of people interested in this stuff. Maybe not as many as the teenie-kids and soccer moms, but there are a lot of techie types who really want something snappier and slicker than Droid. And there are a LOT of customers on both AT&T and Verizon who ain't getting much nookie lately.Don't you think at least one of the major two would go make a deal with HTC for a fast mo-fo-fone and get it on the market now? The technology is all there. It's just lawyers and contracts at this point. Imagine if Verizon came out with a Desire or Incredible very soon and pre-empted the new iPhone in June?
There's just no telling in this game. It appears that V and AT&T don't have much interest in moving these things right now.
