@Brian I plan to sell my T1i now too. Amazon is still selling the T2i body for $900 when the PR says $800. Come on Amazon don't screw me on this camera. I need the high frame rate video and external mic input. I bought the T1i in spite of these issues because I needed a new camera.
@jdwusami Ya there are a few things I would like on the T2i over the T1i and, at least for me, it's not that expensive.Might even find a good rebate on it. I bought my T1i kit for about $400. Had a nice rebate on it and for like $100 for a Canon printer that I sold on eBay for like $200-$300. Plus I sold the lens that came with the kit.
@Brian OMG! $400! I can't find it on the Internet for anything less than $700. I'm from India, here's this thing's priced at Rs. 50,000(Approx $1040) If you bought the kit for $400 + $100(printer), and have already sold the printer for $300. Then this makes your leftover Camera+lens for $300. That's awesome man! Subtract the $50 approx for which you might've sold your lens. $250 for the T1i body is pretty amazing. I am interested in your camera, if you're interested to sell it then please let me know. Email me at "sukhnani@gmail.com". I have a friend in the U.S. whom you can mail this Camera and she'll ship it to me to India. Price - please quote.
@dpuk You misunderstood me. I am meaning I paid like $400 after a rebate, selling the printer and the kit lens. It was a great deal. I think Canon has deal like that every now and then.
@cswright I don't mean to lowball. But I'm new to photography. I really don't know what's the kind of resale that a DSLR gets. But if he got it for $400 and I pay him $250-$300 then I don't think there's anything unfair. You might've missed out, he's giving the body only as he's already sold the lens and whatever lens he's using right now he'll most probably use it with his new T2i whenever he gets it. If there's any other thing, please tell me.
@dpuk Well I don't through money away and plan to get the most I can get from it. Probably will put it on eBay. Hardly ever used, maybe have shot about 500 or so pictures from it.
@Brian As you say man. I'm still up for it for 300$ without a lens and $350-$400 with a lens. I really want this camera. Send me an email at "sukhnani@gmail.com" with your expected price or the reply to my offered price. Would be glad if we can strike a deal :)

Looks like I am going to be selling my T1i for this baby!
@Brian How old is your T1i and how much do you expect for it?
@dpuk Few months and whatever it sells for is fine with me. No need to have it laying around once it is replaced.
