Look familiar? Yep, this is precisely what we expected HTC's rumored
Legend to look like based on the
renders we'd seen so far. We don't have any information here other than the pictures themselves, but from what we can gather, it seems to carry over Sense as we know it today without a trace of that
freshened look we've caught in recent months (not unlike its
Incredible cousin). Maybe more importantly, the Legend looks like it might be kicking off a new styling direction for the company with a big, bold, chromed company logo around back and an aluminum shell that we suspect feels awesome in the hand -- particularly if it's pre-production aluminum. More on this one as we get it; in the meantime, check out a shot of the back after the break.
[Thanks, anonymous tipster]
Fuck that is beautiful......
What's the deal with the big gap between the bottom of the screen and the hard buttons?
@joe23521 I was thinking the same thing. That's a lot of wasted space usable for the screen.
@joe23521
It seems that that gap is even bigger than the one on the Hero. The screen size is a real deal-breaker for me. Look at all that wasted space under those hard buttons as well!
It's hideous!
looks like an exact replacement for the htc hero gsm version

Second phone today where you can read the confidential production code in the display. Someone desperately is trying to lose his job.
That thing is FUgly.
Come to Sprint Come to Sprint. Verizon and TMobile have enough phones already.
@litechocolate Yes, please. With all these newer, faster Andriod phones out there, my Sprint Hero just doesn't really seem all that heroic anymore...
wow looks quite nice ..
why did they have to ruin that beautiful alluminum with that ugly black plastic?
@snowrid3r Antenna needs no metal.
If this is correct, I'm glad HTC is going with a design that can heat-sink the overwhelming heat the MSM cpus generate.
HTC is the new Apple
Wow wth are you guys smoking? Seriously that phone does not look beautiful, decent maybe and good if you're into that kinda shyt but rofl beautiful or nice.
Does any one know if this phone and the incredible or the supersonic are the group. Of 5 android devices going to AT&T?
@Mr iPhone
I'm not sure who the Legend and Incredible are going to (I would assume T-Mo or Verizon) but I know the Supersonic is going to Sprint.
What's up with all the clear photos? Blurrycam broken?
please please please....SUPERSONIC, come to a store near me...before may.
these other mobiles r kids play
this thing is FUGLY
Everybody says HTC is cool nobody mentions that they have worst battery life out of all the smartphones
i hate the long chin. and too many buttons on the front. 3 buttons: answer, home, and hang up. that's it.
@dkhang WTF are you talking about? The four button setup is standard for android phones and the user experience would take a major hit if any one of them weren't included.
@dkhang
Four buttons is too much now? They're not even physical.. You do know that Home, Menu, Back and Search are standard for all Android phones right?
Please come to AT&T.... please.
ok, so if they have android 2.0+ with sence ui running on phones that are not released yet, WHEN WILL WE SEE IT ON OUR HEROS?
Mr. Blurrycam was nice to us this time, it appears.
I just want a HD2 with android and sense UI and il be happy :)
Looks pretty sleek.
But what are al those little holes around the camara?
HTC phones basically are the same and same...and same...
@FrankLucas
Yeah because sticking with a similar design that's been successful and has created brand recognition is just dumb and dumb and dumb
AT&T PLEASE?!
I like this form factor better than my Nexi 1
My HD2 is chuckling to himself. He can do that too, you know.
Dude that phone is Fugggly, it doesn't come close to looking better than N1 only thing it looks better than is the G1.
fugly, next.
hey not bad looking!! i kind of like the aluminum uni-body on the device!! lol too bad it does have the 1GHz snapdragon processor...even though it does have a snapdragon processor it is not the same as the one on Nexus One/HTC bravo/Xperia X10... however i like design of this phone and i really want HTC to push out these phones (HTC Bravo and Legend especially) as fast as they can lol...i can't much longer lol...i can finally retire my Nokia N95!!!!...wow to be honest if you guys ever checked out the leaked image back in December....the Legend looks exactly the same as the leaked one...beside different colours...the placement of buttons and design are practically the same...wow who ever gave out that leak was pretty reliable THANKS ENGADGET for posting that!!!
ewww
I hope the backing on the Bravo looks similar to that of the Legend.
Carrier possibilites?
I'm very interested in this phone. Just hoping for a hotted up Android UI.
Can you please at least wait till MWC? I like to see THE HOLE HARDWARE BEFORE ANY MORE LEAKS. BUT LOOKS REALLY REALLY NICE.
