Pentax K-x DSLR goes pink for Valentine's Day, naturally
You know what the world needs? Another stereotypical pink gadget to commemorate a Hallmark holiday. Bitterness and shame aside, it looks as if Pentax has decided that too few people were using its custom color shop to craft completely pink K-x DSLRs, and in the honor of Saint Valentine, the company has decided to roll out another stock hue to sell alongside the red, white, black and navy blue versions. It'll set you back around HK$5,990 (or $770 in greenbacks), but trust us, your honey is totally worth it.

is this a sex toy?
@shreyas
Judging by the looks of your avatar, I can see why you would ask such a question.
@bureX
haha, agree!!! but the K-X is just an awesome SLR...
Sometimes I forget there is also Engadget Chinese
That color is beyond ugly. Why not make it red like all other Valentine's day stuff?
That is officially the ugliest camera I have ever seen. And why the hell is the sensor on the handgrip?
@DeviousMrBlonde
Thats the IR sensor for the wireless remote. I doubt very much that your hand will obstruct it when using a wireless shutter release...
I am strongly opposed to pink electronics.
where is the engadget app for android? I can't find it.... ?bb?
Every item in my kitchen is pink, I bet you didn't know there were pink microwaves, mixers, toasters, blenders, etc. Sometimes you have to get a lady what she deserves. And that is clearly a pink camera.
This camera in pink is absolutely horrible looking.
The same camera in white is sexy! OMG, google that right now.
As for me, I have a plain ol' black one. Amazing DSLR! (Minus the pink)
You've been able to get this in pink (and 24 other body colours or something - with 5 grip colours and 2 lens colours) in Japan since launch.
They made a camera out of Pepto Bismol ?
