@Enzobot24 CMOS isn't just about being cool, there are other benefits, better battery life and easier to control noise. It is possible to get global shutter with CMOS, I don't know why it's not being done more.

I know CMOS chips are smaller and cooler than CCDs, but a $20k camera? Why couldn't they stick with CCDs?
