No! Your receiver should never mount to the wall! What are you hoping for, all the inputs to be exposed? And where did you get the info about them being big because the tvs were?
As an installer I'm glad no manufacturers have ever thought about that, and I hope they never will. Connecting it then mounting it is something I will never support.
