The Zanier Xplore.XGX gloves must be one of the finest examples of stuff you don't need, but would probably dearly love to have. With an embedded GPS tracking unit and a monochrome screen, these multifunctional finger warmers will guide you to and from the lodge, but the real fun kicks off when you
hit the piste. Altitude, speed, duration and distance of your slaloms can all be recorded and then downloaded to your computer before being uploaded to the web. Is there anything more an exercise enthusiast (or an unashamed poser) needs? You get a Gore-Tex finish for enhanced grip on the sticks, and a few USB attachments to get connectivity up and running. Pricing has not yet been announced, but they're part of Zanier's 2010/11 line, so the wait shouldn't be too long.
I need something to check and calibrate my GPS equipped goggles.
Powerglove.
@BigKing
Everything else is child's play.
@BigKing Yeah! I don't know what could be more worse than not to add a GPS capability like the ones from garmin on our devices, I mean its 2010 already... GPS should be a part of our normal lives: http://bit.ly/diy-gps-guide
"I love the Powerglove. It's so bad."
Just saying.
If you want to be crowned top Geek this is for you.
Where would the display be on the glove?
I don't see any place for it on the picture :)
Yay, I can finally easily track my punching speed when training with Little Mac and Mike Tyson in punch out.
too zany for me!
I think you misspelled zanyer...as in
Those gloves couldn't get any zanyer!
If I owned a pair of these I would wear them all the time. Shopping in walmart, on the bus, in bars, you name it.
I would be super cool...
@Xpoc everywhere?
alright, this deep into the comments and no inappropriate comments?!?!?!?!?
Altitude, speed, duration and distance can all be recorded and then downloaded to your computer before being uploaded to the web. I mean 'cum' on!
How long until they integrate my Twitter account into it?
Is that the only model? That design is too terrible for words. I like the usability, but there's no chance I'd be caught dead on the hill in those.
Takes me back to the days of my nintendo Power Glove.
