anyone else feel like this years MWC was less than lasts year? I feel like there wasn't that much innovation, everyone was building touch/querty phones, and they all seem the same. Baba was the biggest thing for me. A new platform in what it seems to be a overcrowded OS market. Non the less Baba is really fast and snappy.
@WithoutHeroes Baba-Bing? Nah, that doesn't work...
@BergerFan bada! :P Doh!
Whats a B Box?
They're talking about the BeBox, the original hardware for BeOS.
And almost any geek that loves OSes would love a BeBox, BeOS was quite incredible and way before it's time.
Sean says "I was so baked..." at 25:30 ish... were you guys in Amsterdam?
@ai4281
ha!
Tired... Still catching up and am currently in hiding.
Geeks that cant pull find Spain in Google Maps or pull Barcelona from Wikipedia. Barcelona is North East Spain for crying out loud. Why would you think its in southern Spain two podcasts in a row?
I stopped listening half way through.
@Moridin Why? Anything we can do to improve it for you? Feedback's always welcome!
@Chris Ziegler I'm sorry, but I'm just trying to be frank here. I subscribe the regular Engadget podcast for some time now, however I joined up for the Mobile version due to MWC. Since I'm an iPhone user, I don't much care for other phones any more (used to!).
Anyway - you guys seemed so tired when recording and there was quite a lot of babbling because of it (I assume). The first two (the ones with Josh) were great despite him taking swigs of his Jim Beam -- or was that because of it? Anyway -- this one was just pale in comparison. Especially since I was listening to them back to back.
So please take this as constructive criticism, but I felt that you had a bad day and listening to the last podcast made my sleepy and bored. Sorry for not explaning in my first post, but I was too dejected to type in anything else.
Regards and hoping for more quips and less tiredness. ;-)
