This phone is utter trash
why would anyone buy this?
esp. with the Bada on the rise and everything, this featurephone is supposed to be dead... AT&T won't be making any money on this...
i guess AT&T lives in the past, including their network hardware
explains a lot tbh.. also why on prepaid you have to pay when receiving a call or SMS
the USA is the only place in the world were these ridicoulous carrier charges and terms exist
in germany you get unlimited 3G broadband for your laptop for 15 Eur (20$) on PREPAID!!!

I agree with everything but "bada on the rise" How is it on the rise? They've only shown one very buggy build at MWC.
Anyway, LG arena = bezel monster... Absolutely disgusting hardware and software... S-clas... eww
@creepin I'll tell you why they'll buy it. Because it's a "touchscreen phone" that AT&T will sell them WITHOUT A REQUIRED DATA PLAN. Every smartphone has to be sold with a data plan from AT&T, but not full-touch dumbphones.
It's simple. Uninformed consumers equate "touchscreen" with "smartphone" and the difference between this an an iPhone for them is $30 a month.
This is so that people can buy their kids touch screen phones without paying for a data plan.

This phone is utter trash NOW, but when it came out here in Europe, about 2 years ago, for the equivalent of 0,25 $ on a 6 month contract, it was one of the best featurephones available, I had been tempted to get one myself actually, but it lacked some function I need (can't remember what now) and so I discovered the pleasures of Android.

Friend owns one, it costed 200€ without contract or anything, still he considers that 200€ as a terrible waste of money. But if you want a touch screen phone that doesn't react to touch, you should get this one!
this phone is almost two years old and i had it and it an't that good. don't buy it you will be wasting your money
Wow, I'm not an apple fanboy or anything but I would buy the iPhone over this a thousand times over...if you're going to have the network that everyone seems to hate then you might as well have their coolest phone!
yes whenever I look at the GUI of LG phones , it feels like something is missing, same is the case with samsung too

Really? This came out in the UK 2 years ago, and it still sucked! Never trust and LG since the original Chocolate...
You might as well wait for the BACKFLIP coming in early March. That droid phone will only be $99 after rebate. Why AT&T would introduce this ancient phone is beyond me.

Hahaha you got love the US At&t is selling a phone that is a little over a year old for $199 with a contract which would probably cost you about 60bucks or more per month. I just saw this phone at a Saturn in Germany on sale for €189(about $255) unlocked with no contract. Hell parts of Africa gets phones quicker then we do.

199.99 dollars for this? What are they smoking...
I would wait for like another 3-4 months for more android phones, new iphone or price drop on this phone.
This phone is garbage and shame on at&t for bringing this garbage out! Why can't we customers get better phones?
