ZMP RoboCar G soon to be available to researchers
You may not be able to buy Honda's sci-fi-styled 3R-C electric three-wheeler anytime soon, but it looks like you will be able to get behind the wheel of ZMP's new RoboCar G this year -- if you're a researcher interested in working on next-generation vehicles, that is. According to the company, the vehicle will be available on a limited basis starting in November, and it will be able to be equipped with a whole range of sensors that will either help the driver, or let it be operated as a computer-controlled "robot vehicle." No indication of a price, or any word of availability to the general public -- although you may just be able to talk your into getting one for yourself if you can foot the bill. Exceedingly brief video after the break.

Transformers robots in disguise!
Now if only they can make a ZPM Robocar G.
this is amazing. the style of this car is much better than the one that looks like amotorcyce. i mean this one has windows right?
@emopoops that's really bad, if it has windows then you're likely to get a BSOD in the middle ofa highway. I'd put Linux on it.
@Drago Then you would replace BSOD's with Kernal Panics.
@Nitesh You're right they should just hackint0sh it and get a nice sBBOD.
@Drago NOT WINDOWS OS! windows like a car!
Crazy Japanese! lawl
The bird crowing at the end of the video is just gold :]
This cars aesthetics looks inspired by cheap lawn furniture
Well either the Americans view of style is going to drastically change, or we are all going to look llke a bunch of uptight dorks pulling up beside that giant V10 Ford at a stoplight.
@HAVOKK I agree...the general public would have to vastly change its perceptions of driving. I think at very least better city planning is needed.
This is what happens when you let anime fans design golf carts.
@Ducman69
Or design cities, woot!
I wonder who's going to buy this. Universities don't have large budgets, and most mule vehicles are donated to universities.

I'd consider getting my license again if it meant these kind of cars were more commonly available. I normally hate driving.
I think there was some weird regulation that a car had to have at least four wheels. Three wheeled vehicles were ineligible for government money or tax breaks.
