Sony outs good looking PC gaming headsets
PC gaming headsets aren't really something you think of when the word 'stylish' comes up -- in fact, you can usually file them somewhere after fanny packs and parachute pants for style points. Sony's aiming to change that a bit with a new series of 'phones, and we have to say, they may have just pulled it off. The DR-350USB, DR-320DPV and DR-310DPV headsets feature updated stylings, but other than that, they're pretty standard headsets, with features like volume controls and voice muting. Unfortunately for most of us, these headsets will only be available in Asia when they arrive in March. There's one more shot after the break.

The first headphone, The wireless gold color one, gave me a boner.
I am sold to that one. Really sexed up!
Yay! Sony!!!
@shreyas Where do you see wireless? I see wires...
@shreyas
Okaaay.
@shreyas
looking sharp while pc gaming in your moms basement is important
Gee Sony you make these sharp cans for PC but you have none for my PS3??
Very good looking.
Wonder how many wallets do i need to steal, though...
be warned that this doesn't work on 2/29/2011.
sorry i had to do it
@gshock888 You're not the only one.
I'll stick to my Astro Gaming A40.
yummy! love the black and gold one
Sony releases game console with AD2P
Sony releases gaming headset with no bluetooth support
Come on Sony.
@glamajamma meh? They've been selling A2DP Bluetooth headsets for years, is it that hard to look up sonystyle.com?

@Wam
I already have a Sony AD2P but it isnt a gaming headset. Having the better Mic would be a plus.
Those look terrible. 2 circles and a stick. I'm sorry, but that does not appeal to me for some freudian reason...
This is what SONY used to do before they lost their way. Good to see them innovating again!
i thought this article was supposed to include something about "good looking headsets"
Are these wireless or what?
No matter how "good looking" the headsets are...
...the gamers still look like dorks wearing them.
Sorry, it's just true.
If these aren't 5.1, they aren't "gamer" headsets.
@jimbonics
5.1 headsets are bullshit. They still have one driver each side and virtualize it with gimmicky software effects. You're better off getting some standard headphones with good soundstage, like JVC HA-RX700, Audio-Technica ATH-AD700, AKG K701.
Looks like they'd be really comfortable if my ears were on my jaw.
I bet they don't sit well.
Those things are
A) not very good looking
B) look uncomfortable as all hell
who cares if my headset is "pretty", I care what they sound and feel like. these guys have their priorities all messed up.
@menosdabear so you know what they sound and feel like?
@fokka no.... if you read what i wrote it says nothing about what these headphones sound like. I simply state that sound is one of the 2 components that matter to most people. I also said they LOOK like they would be uncomfortable. LOOK. Read through a post before you go trolling, making yourself look stupid
omg they look great but the price is probably not gonna be cheap
Wow, those are ugly
Laura, are you saying that my AD700s AREN'T stylish? How very dare you.

Stylish? Maybe
Comfortable? Doubt it
Reasonably priced? From Sony... Unlikely
Good sound quality? Probably not for the price
There are a number of things more important than "stylish" when I shop for a PC gaming headset, most importantly comfort. I wouldn't pay 1 cent for the best sounding/most stylish headset in the world if it was as uncomfortable as these look to be.
Those are awful looking.
Future prop headsets on 24, watch.
