Eh, a step in the right direction. I don't see why everyone is so resistant. If you don't like the obnoxious glasses, don't wear 'em in public! I don't worry about how I look when I'm on my couch watching a movie. And soon enough they'll be rolling out the 1080p models, too. I'm not in love with the glasses and I know they're working on glasses-free tech(which should really win all but the most resistant luddites over), but meantime I can deal with looking funny in the comfort and privacy of my own living room.
