A good web browser plus Flash could let you watch Hulu. That would be cool. Course you'd need a mouse-equivalent touch pad and a keyboard (at least an on-screen one). Could you get by with just arrow keys for navigation? Maybe, suspect there would be problems. Have to do hotspots or something. Sounds doubtful. Also of course Hulu would try and disable it, and unless Dish/Google is willing to play tricks and lie about what browser and device they are, Hulu would succeed. And I don't see a touchpad or keyboard anywhere in this picture...
You could play games or something using Android apps on your STB. Will Android apps scale to this STB? Does the whole "scaled down" thing suggest that won't even work? Would Dish really open up their box to ANY application from the Android store? Including some that might enable piracy or torrenting or ...
