Sony Ericsson Vivaz available on Vodafone, Satio looks on with envy
If you don't have a need for a physical keyboard -- or you're just not willing to wait long enough for the Vivaz Pro to come to market -- then you might want to take a gander at Sony Ericsson's plain-Jane Vivaz now that it's available from Vodafone in the UK. The Symbian-powered slate features a 3.2-inch WVGA display, 8.1 megapixel still camera, and 720p video capture with continuous autofocus -- a truly unique feature for a cameraphone at any price. As is usually the case with these guys, you're able to score the Vivaz for a big, fat naught on contract as long as you're willing to pony up at least £30 (about $46) a month on your plan.

this became available in the o2 stores yesterday (stock has arrived in some)
I thought this was the Android one.
Symbian, meh...
Why is it so hard for SE to release an Android phone?
@Johnny Rockets
Nah mate, your thinking of the X10
It'll "Hopefully" be comming in the next few months
@Rapt0r
It's confirmed on T-Mobile UK's website for April along with HTC Desire.
It's been in stock in every Carphone Warehouse store for the past 2-3 days.
Now if only the U.S. mobile carriers would adopt this procedure of extending these handsets for free on the appropriate monthly plans.
But knowing how greedy VZW and AT&T are, if ever in a dream this were to be adopted here, they'd most likely make you pay $100 or more on a 24 month post-paid contract only to receive a free handset.
Just about the last point at the end, most phones in the UK are free on a contract as that is how the system works.

It's strange that in the UK we get shafted on software, computers, cars and most electrical equipment but we certainly get a better deal on phones than most Americans.
