Leaked slide points to March 17th launch, $99 price for Motorola CLIQ XT
Motorola already said that its new CLIQ XT Android phone would be available sometime this month when it let us get our hands on the phone last week, but it unfortunately didn't get very specific about an actual date or a price. If this seemingly authentic slide obtained by TmoToday is any indication, however, it looks like the Blur-skinned handset will hit retail on March 17th (tomorrow), and run $99 on a two-year contract (or $199 for a year). That places it right in line with the current pricing of the original CLIQ, which would seem to be prime for a price drop if it's sticking around.

yes! because everyone wants a slow ugly android phone running moto-blur!
not bad
thats too much
Tmo Today ?
T moto day ?
@Shravan Tomato Day!
Some Fry's Electronics stores have had the Cliq XT since yesterday
Why would someone get this instead of the CLIQ?? Am i missing something??? Just cause its thinner?
Swype, FM radio, thinner, cheaper (off contract), other stuff...
@mpv Isn't Swype an app you can download?? It isn't much thinner is it? It lost the qwery keyboard though... I guess it's for a different audience but still..... I have yet to try either phone so i don't know :D
@spiky32kobe because it has built in adobe flash, pinch and zoom, it is thinner, and has the program swype preloaded!
I don't understand..every best buy mobile that i have been too lately (at least 3 different local stores) has had it and been selling it since March 12th for 69.99 new or upgrade..how has no one noticed?
Being that there is still an iPhone at $99.... This thing needs to cost $0.
it requires an "andriod" data SOC...wonder what that is. :P
