i mean the iphone is so 2007! if you compare the iphone to some other phones, its weak! there are non-touchscreen phones that have more content, abilities and power than that glorified ipod. the only reasons the iphone even blew up like it did is 1: apple coats its products with lsd so they keep their rabid fan-base and 2: ill admit (and im an adamant apple-hater) it looks really really nice. but i dont trust anything i cant remove the battery from...so nexus one FTW
@arrynyo2010
I was reading your whole post wondering if your shift key was broken but then right at the end I finally saw a capital letter. Is it really that hard to type correctly?
@arrynyo2010 Spoken like a true non-owning iphone troll with no concept of how it works or what it offers. Enjoy the Nexus along with the other 8 people.
Sweet i can take this piece of doody HTC Hero. This one better have as nice of life as my Pearl, my Hero is supposed to be better, which it may for talking but for email text and navigation my Pearl uses way less power. I almost have to leave the Hero plugged in half the day. I just hope that Sprint sells it and not Google, so i can take it back if it drops as many calls as my Hero does (the Pearl rarley if ever dropped calls)
YEEES! lets hope it is out before the end of april! Finally a replacement for my hero! (I have had it since xmas and is fed up with SenceUI)
@iHakr
SenseUI can be turned off... here's a link:

@Phantom Pain
Same here. Im waiting for the next WebOS phone. But if it doesnt have a bigger screen and built better i might have to jump on the Android bandwagon.
Now I see what google was planning all along. Open OS tech spec phone and available on all carriers.
The tmobile was the Trojan horse.
Beautifully done google.
Had this been available 6 months ago I'd be all over it. But Sprint waited too long and lost my nine year loyalty. I'm glad cause the iPhone works great for everything I do
US Cellular please? We are getting Android this summer so it's not out of the question.
@Sponge
Dude, get a real carrier. Here in Chicago, well, the only people who use US Cellular are low-rents or people who never leave the metro area. Besides, when I call my friend on your network while in the city, it's a toss of the dice if the call goes through the first time.
Might go for this. Tempted to wait to see real Windows Phone 7 Series 7 Phone Windows devices, but don't know that I can wait that long.
*yawn*
...waiting for it to hit US Cellular...
I just hope sprint will let me use this on my SERO Plan. Crosses fingers
@TomBlaze well, it depends on we pay for the phone, if the phone is not subsbized then you could be able to use the nexus one, like how one uses the nexus on att, but i have a feeling this would not be true since the sprint android devices aren't revolutionary, and the nexus one is kinda needed on spring since the hero is outdated, and the samsung moment is samsung, eww.
@kushkm
have you used the Moment? Well, have you? OK, then.
Perfect, of course not. Dated, well now it is. Bad phone, hardly.
US Cellular? Seriously? They are always behind the Big 4. They'll probably get something like the Hero or Eris, or maybe the Moment.
And it's not going on a $30/month SERO plan, people! Get real!
@Skafri
geta have some type of optimism. im sick of my touch pro 2, and yes i do run andriod on my tp2, but i want the real thing with better specs, wish N1 had the Tp2 qwerty keyboard.
finally a decent phone on sprint!
@Lord Humongous
Been a Sprint cust. since '98 (remember the old Qualcomm), and yes, Sprint has always been behind, until the last year (Pre, HTC, Moment). I use the Moment and am quite happy, but can't wait to get something even better, but want a QWERTY.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! A phone on Sprint I WANT!!!!! Sprint Everything @ $99 + Nexus One = WINNER!
I can't get it soon enough.
Shall I post to youtube, blowing up my POS Instinct?
@KimH HAHAHA, we can film it in 720p with the Instinct HD I suckered myself into.
@thunder18
Sounds good, I love the irony.
Who honestly didn't see this coming?
Right from the launch of the Nexus One it was clear that Google's intention was to make this phone available on every US carrier.
Well crap, this makes my new phone decision really hard. I am about to switch to sprint, and I really want to get a pre (I love WebOS, although I wish there was a better WebOS phone). I like android, I previously was using a G1.. I still think I am going to get a pre, but this does make that choice quite a bit harder.
@zsmorr I too came from a G1 and went to the Pre. I love WebOS, but the hardware is very much lacking quality control. I plan to jump ship when the N1 comes out. Android isnt the greatest mobile OS, but it's got a better future for sure.
@jamesrdorn HTC doesn't have any better quality control than Palm does. In fact, i'd say it's probably worse.
@zsmorr
Don't sweat it. I bought the Moment not too long ago. Went into store to buy the Pre, and walked out with Android device. The deal my wife and I get with Everything plan (plus 20% discount from my employer), cannot compare to anything else out there.
sweet..i will try it out ;)
Will you have to pay full price for the phone?
@majorhunadadun
At this point the only subsidy is available through T-Mobile; though can get be pretty sure there will be a Verizon subsidy as well when it's likely announced later this month.
yeah baby, yeah!
best news of this week!
I am totally replacing my Palm Pre with the Nexus One. Was going to jump ship anyways.
@Phantom Pain
Yep. I feel exactly the same. webOS is definitely my first choice, but I really want 4G and I like the Nexus One. My next phone will probably webOS though.
Ah... if only it twas in australia id be buying one right now
Seriously, if Sprint works for you (not for me in NE Georgia) then why wouldn't you go with the Supersonic over the N1?
This...Supersonic or a WM7 phone....uhhh decisions.
well done google. one way to make an iphone competitor is to make it available to all. i think they should start marketing this thing more and get it in stores if they havent already.
The picture says it all..
Sprint is yellow
Verizon is red
and you decide the other two
:)
Now which would be a better choice hardware-wise. Supersonic or The N1? I still can't find much out as far as that goes for the Supersonic.
Why all the hate from Apple fans? The N1 seems like a damn fine piece of machinery. Do you belittle every phone that is released to assure yourself that your iPhone is better. Why do you even care? They are both phones... yours is not a God. They both have cons. Props to Google for making their phones available to people who buy based on carriers, not solely based on the phone (when your phone dies you still have your carrier). I might own an iPhone if they weren't in league with the devil (AT&T), but now I will be #11 to own the N1.
Any day now.... Jeez, you've already been eclipsed by the Evo.... RELEASE it already! :-)
