HTC A9292 'Supersonic' shows up in another inventory listing
It's anyone's guess whether we'll see this mythical Supersonic from HTC show up at CTIA next week (wouldn't that be awesome?), but a phone identified as the HTC A9292 has recently made an appearance in yet another internal system which can't be a bad sign. As a refresher, the A9292 is popularly believed to be the Supersonic, a 4.3-inch Android-powered beast for Sprint that could become one of the carrier's very first WiMAX-enabled phones. This time around, the phone's turned up in a warehouse portal used by indirect third-party dealers, which would seem like a sign that they're getting ready to distribute these bad boys; hopefully we'll know all in just a few days' time out in Vegas. Stay tuned.

Anyone want to buy a slightly-used Touch Pro 2? Will throw in a free blow job (not by me).
@ViperVin
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ummmm, is it from ur mom ;)
Does the Supersonic support the Telus (Canada) network?
Lets see what happens. I have 20 days while I can cancel my contract with T-Mobile for free. Even though I don't have any attachment to Android, I am willing to give it a try if it comes with Sense UI.
I will switch over to Sprint if they release this before Nexus One goes over to Verizon.
Do it.
Well go ahead an throw a +1 in the "required quantity" column for mine
This little bastard is what I've been waiting for if it drops sub-$200 on contract. That isn't a far stretch since most phones are hitting around the $180 price point. It would mean that the Sprint Hero would need to drop in price to the $100 mark (but we all know that is the correct price for what the Hero offers anyway).
How much to buy one of those PPCCENSUS units? I've always wanted the HTC Census that the gov't uses...

Sprint isn't going anywhere anytime within the next 5 years I can say pretty confidently. Finally some more great phones to match their great (and cheap) service.
Hard to believe there are no FCC shots of this if it is coming out soon.
HTC makes the best product names. The only thing that can beat "Supersonic" is "Ultrasonic."
@Mivanx77
I'm waiting for the HTC GinAndTonic.
I'm more interested in that X9000...
Universal/Athena successor, maybe? Could this be the Scorpion?
been waiting for a mobile like this for 4 years.
my only question is 'how are they gonna fuck it up?' cause they can't be releasing THE PERFECT mobile...
...can they???
this phone or the palm pre plus?
@garfieldfriends
haha.. that was funny
GSM version?
I was just biding my time until next week until I ditch my sero plan for the HD2 next week.
Then Sprint announced the N1 and SS in the same day.
Guess I will hold off on getting the HD2.(my dream phone).
I know I will still have to ditch my sero plan but at least Sprint is cheaper and have better coverage.
Wow.. I am in dallas, one of the 4G Sprint coverage area! Currently on TP2 with SERO... should I switch to Superonic with extra $40/month? decisions..decisions
Aaaaasaaaaaahhhhhhhhh shooooooot I love you htc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@RichS

I'm not so sure that x9000/1 is old news

I really hope that it doesn't include WiMax, because if it does it won't launch in the UK, and that's where I live!
And i have been awaiting this device for months!
PLEASE DON'T INCLUDE WiMAX But if you do please launch in the UK Without WiMax!!
