The Engadget Show live with Nicholas Negroponte, PlayStation Move, and Joystiq's Chris Grant
Update: The live show is over, but don't fret. We've got the full version coming soon (within a day) for download via iTunes, Zune Marketplace, and RSS feed, or you can watch the stream right here. Stay tuned, the post will be soon!
Of course, if you're in NY we'd love to have you attend the show in person at the Times Center. It's absolutely free! We'll start handing out tickets at 2:30PM, open the doors for seating at 4:30PM, and the show itself starts at 5PM. There will also be giveaways from Sony after the show, but you obviously have to be here to participate! All the info about attending can be found here.
Can't make it? We forgive you, and there's a live video stream that can be found after the break. In the spirit of awesome, we've enabled tweeting directly to the live stream! To be a part of The Engadget Show broadcast, just include the hashtag "#engadgetshow" and watch for your tweet on the ticker at the bottom of the screen. One thing to note, The Engadget Show is a family program, so any single instance of swearing or trolling will force us to turn off the ticker... and it won't come back on. So, keep it clean and have fun!

Twitter ticker is broken again :(
Anyway, it was a good show. Possibly the best one to date. Good job guys!
Great job everyone! Wish I could be there, I was going to make the drive down (4 hours) but I had to cancel my Geek Pilgrimage last night :(
Hopefully I can get down there next month.
Just got back from work. Missed the show :( MLIA
When do you guys upload it?
Great show overall guys! The front part with the discussion with Negroponte was interesting, and the Playstation Move part was surreal!
Although I think Nilay was trying too hard and was a little cocky and really close to trolling during the Playstation Move demo.
@shalafi34
I was right at the front row...they were like crazy playing with the Moves.
Sony gave us Playstation Eye and Controllers at the end...i enjoyed the show a lot!.
failstream.
Putting pictures from the show (I was 3rd row!) up into this directory:

Currently just the crappy ones from my video camera in there, I'm editing the ones from my DSLR now.
Was a fun show, thanks Engadget and Thank YOU sony for the Dualshock 3!
@sposten Ok pictures from the DSLR are up there now, will put up a few video clips tomorrow.
When/where will there be a viewable version available? Great with the livestream but missed the beginning.
I put a video of the Playstation Move portion up last night, can't wait to download and see the real Engadget version.

@sposten bah sorry it defaulted to private, it's viewable now.
@sposten Thanks man...and for the pics too
@LiteSoul quite welcome!
booo you guys took longer than a day to put up the download! :( i am a sad panda.
So where is video, supposed to be online after one day? seems like you don't have much affection to PS move? we know you guys are not very pro to playstation!...
When will this video be up?
Arg. How long do Engadget normally take to upload videos? This one is already two days old and nothing. I missed the live showing and I'm waiting watch the download.
Yeah... I've been kind of waiting for this to pop up for the last couple of days.
in the show Sony exposed project natal origion, and showed how excellent the ps move is.. i think it was hard to digest for many including engadget.. video is not coming up, and if you remove that portion of the video then it will lose the remaining trust jounalism in engadget, and you have already deleted lot of complaining comments, why why...it is a shame!!!!
Where is the taped version??? It's been way over a day
I can't eat, can't sleep, can't work before i watch it... come on, please, it is time !
I wasn't really impressed with Move. I still think Natal has more to it. You can use props, so you can use a plastic (or real) sword, or baseball bat, what ever with Natal. Unlike Move where you're just stuck with the controllers.
Move just uses regular cameras and software to do motion capture while Natal uses a uses a depth sensor and a monocrome CMOS sensor along with software to view real time motion.
I think Sony is going to go the Nintendo rout and sell say a baseball bat that lights up at the end, or a or a sword that lights up at the end to try and make things more realistic to the user (at a Sony expensive cost). Now Natal you can use things you have at home, or go and buy something cheap.
We'll see which technology is better.
