I understand that now the cell carriers have some new...blazing fast speed for cell phones....i guess it seems that 3g will no longer be on advertisement to lure people into buying a new cell with 3g. It seems that one carrier already has 4g...but i wonder has it been tested in 4g speed yet!
@bleedingelement2231 those that merely fall for marketing gimmicks like 3G, HD, and 2.0 might think we need 4G, but that's not what we're paying for. What we're paying for is speed, and 4G isn't a speed. Its a label given to a next gen protocol and equipment flavor. But what you may not get is that there are 3G network technologies that surpass current WiMax speeds, so the 3G at TMobile will be close to the same speed, only at a lower cost.
TMobile is wise to do this, providing 4G quality speeds at little cost to deploy. They will wait for the 4G technologies to mature and ramp up speeds, as well as for the cost of equipment to lower, before investing into a nascent technology. This is wise, since the 3G upgrade they apply goes to all customers, while a 4G deployment would only affect those using 4G devices.
During his WWDC keynote, Steve Jobs touted iCloud as a service that will sync many of your Apple devices, for free. Macs, iPhones, iPads, and even Windows computers can synchronize documents, contacts, calendar appointments, and other data.
