Accessory listings hint at Samsung NX5 digital camera
Well, it looks like Samsung's NX10 hybrid DSLR may be about to get some company. While everything is still far from official, at least one online retailer is now listing a number of accessories that are apparently compatible with both the NX10 and a hereto unheard of NX5 camera, which would presumably be a less expansive, possibly more compact version of the NX10 (pictured above). That's backed up somewhat by a rumor that K-rumors has heard, which suggested that the NX5 would lack a built-in EVF and run between $499 and $599 depending on your choice of lens.

less expEnsive?
@htd Although it kinda makes sense-ish this way too.
It's not a DSLR in any way, stop calling it one. It's simply an EVIL (electronic viewfinder interchangeable lens) camera, just like the GF1 and other similar cameras.
@Kieran
Correction, I meant the G1, the GF1 doesn't have a viewfinder (except for the optional hot shoe one).
Ew. Smaller sensors is NOT the way to go. Give us cheaper full 35mm frame cameras with large viewfinders, properly silvered mirrors and focusing screens on which you can actually see where the focus lies. Then I'll be a happy camper. ;)
@RaZe42
No-one really want to lug around a rocket launcher ya know.
@cdf74dc9 Look at the size of old film cameras and compare them to modern DSLRs. Then we'll talk.
To make any real progress they (e.g. Sony and Samsung) should form their own alliance, competing against Micro FourThirds.
Lens market IMO is already fragmented enough.
The problem I see with NX by Samsung will be the HUGE lenses since they are using an APS-C sensor. Micro Four Thirds uses a smaller sensor than a full SLR but still is infinitely better than a compact P&S. Better focal magnifier means smaller lenses. Also, I agree that a Tactical Sony/Samsung Alliance would be clever.
@Kinte Kunta It's because Korean Gov. helps Samsung all the time. They are the Biggest Company in Korea. lol
I want DSLR, not hybrid...
