no offense to apple lovers but the ipad is a complete joke. this confirms it beyond a doubt. its an over sized iphone without the ability to place calls. When apple finally figures it out and runs OSX on a Ipad then we are in business

With all due respect (by which I mean not much), the iPad is most certainly not a joke to Apple. Do you really think that it was easier to produce the iPad than it would have been to put out an OS X tablet? The simple point is that desktop OSs do not work on a tablet - it's a fundamentally bad idea and everyone knows that, except possibly you.
Frankly, the only person laughing at this joke is going to be Apple, and that's all the way to the bank. Sorry but this is the sort of thing that customer actually want.
@Jbezeau The big draw of the iPad, for me, is the instant on feature, which you will not get with OSX. Haven't you ever given up booting your laptop in a plane, saying something like "Hey, it's not worth the wait"?

Desktop OS does not work on mobile phone (ex winmo 6), it does not work on tablet neither.
