Reports of webOS 1.4.1 update now coming in, Update: 1.4.1.1 available for Sprint
Update: So that's what the update does -- according to Recombu, the update should allow European webOS users to finally spend their hard-earned quids and Euros on paid apps. PreCentral additionally reports that O2 Germany customers can now download the Mobile Hotspot app. Cheers!
Update 2: We're getting a 1.4.1.1 10mb patch on our Sprint Pre as we speak, while a list of changes has arrived on Palm.com with one notable difference -- the old NFL Mobile App has been renamed Sprint Football Live -- but otherwise it appears to be the same. Meanwhile the word on PreCentral is that Verizon customers may be in for a wait of up to a few weeks for their own update, so slowing the pace of update checks to just once every 5 minutes would appear to be a reasonable course of action.

here in DC I got the 1.4.1 update.. it's 10mb.. not sure if I want to update to it.. but I got the notice
@JustinDC i would wait a couple days if you have any of the apps that won't work with the update yet, like engadget and timepiece.
Updating now for my Sprint Pre and posting here, which other platform can do that.
Love webOS
Damn... Just sprained my jaw yawning.
I want to update but i cant lose 800mhz. its a beast!
patch broke the engadget app :-(
Sad Panda I am...posting from my Pre

I feel lucky that I got it hopfully I fixes some problems
My iPhone doesn't seem to be getting this update...
/sarcasm
The Engadget app is Broken on 1.4.1.1, so i hope you guys are on top of it.
updated and things are a tad bit faster in the opening/closing of cards.
1.4.1.1 on Sprint Pre.
Things keep looking up for Sprint & Palm! Though I am really liking the hardware of the EVO....
and yes the Engadget app does not work for me either...
Installing now! Lag fix much?
Here's hoping it fixes all the bugs in 1.4 :P
after i downloaded the update my engadget app hasn't worked can someone help me out?
Unllike the Android update system, WebOS updates don't have to replace system components and can reflect the amount of new code actually present in the new version. (There are ways to do that with update.zip, but most Android updates seem to be full and include bootloader, recovery and a full set of system files.)
My engadget app is no longer working after 1.4.1.1 anybody else?
Well done for fixing the engadget app so quickly! Awesome!
useless update says I. It does nothing for the issues i'm having. I'm fekkin tired of the memory critical notifaction w/ only 1 page open. Had I known i'd have to wait almost 8 months to record video on the device, I would have gotten a blackberry. Palm keeps shooting themselves in the foot, and @ this point, i'm done w/ it.
