HTC Incredible spotted in Verizon's system (again)
We'd already had some indication that the HTC Incredible could be landing on Verizon sooner rather than later, and it looks like we now have yet more photographic evidence to back that up. According to an Android Phones forum member, that shot above is of a genuine CelleBrite machine that Verizon uses to transfer information from one phone to another, and it quite clearly lists the HTC Incredible among some of the other usual suspects. What it doesn't show, obviously, is a date of any sort, but it does back up earlier reports that Verizon already has the phone stocked in their warehouse, if not their stores.
Update: Need even more proof? Here you go. Thanks, Ebby!
Update: Need even more proof? Here you go. Thanks, Ebby!

Sweet. Can't wait to try it out.
@AckbarsFist my next phone is soo mysterious!
@AckbarsFist
OMG a non Apple post. Refreshing. Seriously this site is way biased IMHO.
So what size screen does the incredible have?
@Dig Deep A product that a lot of people want info about is being released - wtf do you want them to cover?
@tkrow21
That's you're opinion.
@Dig Deep
i belive its a evo 4g without wimax, 720 res and the front facing camera, might be wrong tho
@lv2bll54 Yes, it has a resemblances like the N1 and other HTC design. Packing along with that Snapdragon makes it more incredible. http://bit.ly/incredible-phone-by-htc
@lv2bll54
I really wish that it is the EVO without WiMax but so far the spec put it at only 3.7" screen and < 1GHz Snapdragon.
Just rooted/oc'd my droid and updated to 2.1. I'll pass on this.
@Evan
Same here. I won't be giving up on my Droid anytime soon for a non-keyboard smartphone.
Then again, the Galaxy S w/ keyboard looks promising (minus kitschy iPhone-ish UI).
@horchata
What is this Galaxy S + keyboard which you speak of??
A keyboard smartphone with Android does indeed sound interesting if it's on Verizon. And good info on if/when it might be happening - or is this just wishful thinking?
@Hazdaz
http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/31/samsung-galaxy-s-pro-to-come-with-a-qwerty-keyboard-in-june-say/
I'm not sure when it's coming to stateside or if it'll even come to Verizon, but it looks like a great potential.
At first i thought something incredible has happened.
Sprints unlimited plan makes the evo better for me
moar
Then this may be my next phone.
@Jonathan K
Yep, same here.
hmmm maybe a 4.3'' htc Sense android phone that hasn't got 4G so it can have a UK Release..... :D
As long as it drops in less than 28 days I am happy. I picked up a Droid since I was tired of waiting and found out that for 30 days and a $35 restocking fee I could return it for an Incredible or anything else that came out.
@NYPunkGeek Save yourself $35 and just say the mutli-touch is being wacky, or the battery dies very fast and you already tried updating it to no difference. BAM no restocking fee.
@NYPunkGeek
Best Buy has a policy that doesn't include restocking fees on cell phones. I'm doing the same thing with Moto Droid atm.
@NYPunkGeek go back and get a Pre Plus. I've had mine for 2 weeks and love it!
@Big Wizz +1! I'm getting my Pre Plus in a couple of weeks. Tried one out at the store today, and I'm totally sure about my decision now. Love it.
@NYPunkGeek Simply return the droid without exchange within the 30 days. No restock fee.
@NYPunkGeek Dude. Get your phones at best buy or walmart. Same 30 days. No re stock fees. Oh, and the phones are 50-100 less than verizon stores.
HTC Incredible? Yeah, Incredibly 3G *waves at HTC EVO 4G*
@ThatGuitarGuy hopefully your town had 4G. Mine doesn't so why wait for a device with no date.
@jiggz if your company has a deal with Verizon like mine than Verizon's most similar plan cost about the same
@LowSky
EVO 4G should be out in no less than 60 days. That I was told by a sprint rep a few days back. Keep hope alive!!!!
Please explain to me when Verizon got the HTC Magic exactly?
Let me go hit up the ole' Etch A Sketch we have at Sprint to show you guys the new 4G iPhone we have in our... umm... computers!
@The Arsonist
The system is used to transfer cell information from an old phone to the new one so if someone comes from another carrier they can get it transfered. Read first.
Oh thanks a million. Finally some android news. I was fed up finding iPad news for the so many days. And before you all jump on me, yes I know I can exclude apple news but the rest of the articles are like merely 5%
Now, I can't wait to get incredible on the big red. C'mon verizon, release it quick.HD2 is nice but I am not a fan of TMob
@nooruls143 So that's why the ".../exclude/ipad" RSS feed was so quiet?
I'm going INSAINE waiting for this phone. I've been eligible for an update for almost two weeks, and forcing myself not to get a Droid and hold out for this.
@hated one
I don't even know where to start with your post...fk it, I'll just downrank it.
It's a cellebrite machine, not some verizon internal. The one I own lists it too.... So what?
@TsaxmafiaReturns
Exactly. That really just means that Cellebrite realizes it exists, and included it with its update. Cellebrite updates all devices together. Ten will get you twenty that Sprint / at&t has the phone listed the same way.
I think Engadget is biassed towards HTC. I mean, come on, I'm sure there are some great Kyocera phones coming out soon, but do we hear rumor stories about them? Of course not. So the only logical/ridiculous conclusion would be that Engadget is getting paid by HTC to promote their phones.
Sound familiar?
@PastorTom
Yawn, that was boring.
@PastorTom Sure does. You should post it on their other HTC posts on the last 3 pages. *Oh wait.*
Try Again.
@PastorTom
If you weren't trying to be such a "clever" douche, you'd realize they actually did cover Kyocera at CeBit when they were showing off a new phone. Also, there's no way you can explain this away, seriously, don't be a fool to say Engadget doesn't cover Apple too much.
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd196/solidstate89/FireShotcapture052-HTCIncrediblespo.jpg
@PastorTo how is this bias? This is NEWS not a OPINION geez people are living in 5th grade still
@Prevacator
I really don't care what Engadget covers, which is why I was mocking those who do care.
And BTW, the reason Apple gets over-covered by everyone is because Apple keeps their stuff a secret. This makes everything they release, really big news, whether you like their stuff or not.
@hated one
Are you implying Apple is geared to those that are Tech savvy?
Wait, what?
Wait wait wait this is just a shot of a crllebrite showing htc phones ... How does this mean it's going to verizon? Am I just over looking something out crllebrite at att has a lot of verizon phones in it?
@rokorre If you look at the numbers it is a decendant of the htc eris
@rokorre You're right. We use a cellbrite at my store and it has phones from all the carriers, not just ours. This picture does not mean that the phone is about to be released on Verizon.
@rokorre
Oh man, I'm glad someone finally said it. I can't even stand to read this site anymore. Nothing but Apple fanboys or people who think a Cellebrite update is 'Verizon's System'
I already stopped reading Giz...Engadget it going the same way...
@vzcell Its coming to Verizon. Morons. Engadget is right. And it's coming by April 18.
@hitdog042 you are a little Bonky all I said is that a cellebrite is not inventory ... I never said the phone wasn't coming so calm down there little man you can still get your phone when it comes out
Not a lot of articles come up when you do the exclude apple feature, maybe just because its launch time....
