StreamTV's 42- and 37-inch 3D TVs don't require glasses, do include Blu-ray, might not exist

Ever heard of StreamTV? Us neither. Yet there it is, a pair of entries just added today to Amazon.com. Most interesting is the 42-inch 3D TV that, like its 37-inch bro, includes a built-in 500GB HDD, Blu-ray player, and "full browsing capabilities using Entertainment Portal." Oh, and it doesn't require 3D glasses. Do you believe it? Take our advice and wait for a bit more info before entering your $5,999.99 pre-order. May 7th isn't too far away.

This is still too expensive for the average American! However, this is a step in the right direction. Who the hell wants to constantly wear glasses (which use batteries), might get lost and are expensive to watch t.v? Maybe this might change the game? And why are these things (blu-ray, hdd) built in? Remove them, lower the price and you have a good deal :)
@Mike Vick
I may be wrong here... but other than the few gimmicky flakes of snow, or raindrops, without moving, 3D will be useless, no?
I cant recall the last time I was watching a movie attentively, where I moved around the room. I dont see 3D as being the thing that will get me up and move me to the other side of the room just to see what the other side of someones face looks like.
Or is all this just for the "depth". Not worth it. Not at all.
We're stuck with plain old flat screens for now. Not until we see full holographic 3D imaging will the TV change. and at that point, it probably wont be a TV anymore.
@Mike Vick I don't think that dropping integrated drives would change the price much, it would still be priced a higher than a lot of people would pay.
@A25i Must be a mess in those 3D movie theaters, with the entire audience walking around all the time!
Whoa....I think they listed TV's from 2014.
@NaeemTHM
Wheres the time machine for this? Id rather buy that for $5999.
Great marketing though! Go back in time to tell people about your super cool product which at that time looks too expensive but reassure them it will be a quarter that prize and watch them wait like little kids on the ride to toys'rus.
Look like a couple of big screen all in one PCs to me.
@fais WTF are you talking about? There's no picture of them!
@engadgetcomexcludeengadget
Um are you joking? I was making an inference, you know as in 'looks like rain' you do know how English works right?
I, for one, am selling my brainwave-helmet-free 4D scent-television with integrated 500 exabyte SSSSSD (Secure Super Spacious Solid State Drive). :)
@Eli Haj 3d with no glasses has been available for ages, it's just that the viewing angles are crap because of how it works
They also have a 55-Inch LCD with the same specs and added video conferencing for $2,299.99. It's "Temporarily out of stock." and has no picture or reviews.
@pcwzrd13 doesn't have 3D though
@HW90
I know. My point is that it isn't in stock, has no pics, and no reviews. It seems like this company and their products don't really exist.
If they can pull this off and it turns out to be bang for buck then all I have to say is bye bye Pana, Sam and Sony, for me.. Hello Stream!!
I can't say I'm too impressed with the company name. How tough is it going to be to get to the top of google searches for 'Stream TV'?!?
@Eli Haj
If it is listed on Amazon it has to be real.......right?
hehe
I actually have one of these. Here is a picture of me and my friends watching it in my living room:

@Matt1122
Lol! I was wondering what the 'Super' in Super BluRay was.
@Matt1122
epic.
Never heard about this company before. And even if this is true, would you spend so much on a brand that you have never heard before? I have already ordered my 3d tv set with glasses and can't wait to watch 3d at home.
