ive bin a jailbreak from day 1... but now i dont know if i need it n e more one 4.0 is release...
Hackers should figure out how to implement Flash on there.
Now that the screen is big enough, it'd be soooo awesome to have a DS emulator on this!!!

1. Netbooks suck balls. I've owned several of the better netbooks out there, and they all lacked the power to do anything interesting, like play an HD video, even when I wasn't doing anything else. Plus I can't very well use a cheap netbook as a sketchpad for fashion designs, can I?
2. I'd rather not buy $50 DS games, far too easy to pirate them, and they are not worth their selling price. Also do not want to buy an R4 or the like.
3. Consolidation! It's nice to have more functions in one device.
It will be interesting to see whether this gets released before OS4.0 or not, given that it's not coming to iPad until the fall.
I reckon Geohot would have used the same method as jailbreaking the current iPhone OS.
TBH, I can't see him holding out 'till the release of the new iphone hardware in June / July though ya never know.
Personally, I'd be happy to wait for this to hit when OS4.0 is released for the iPhone. Even if Apple patch it before releasing OS4.0 for iPad, you'll still be able to upgrade via modified firmware files if you already have a jailbroken device.
This may justify my purchasing an iPad. But the problem remains, what would I use it for?
@buntaicho Then don't buy it. Simple as that. Why convince yourself to buy something? If you can't think of a reason to buy it, it's simple, DON'T! Your wallet will thank you.
Isn't the ipad 3.1.3? If so y is this jb but not the iPhone?

What would be cool is if there was a way to have the iPhone act just as a controller, and the iPad as a display. Then that would be a pretty awesome gamestation set-up! And with that concept, have the iPhone act as a bluetooth keyboard for the iPad. No need for additional accessory.
Now, it is time to buy an iPad. Geohot, you're a genius, we love you. Keep us one step a head of those monsters at bloody Apple.
