Swimming laps never just got better and cheaper.
@weaky6 Never SOUNDED better.
@weaky6 Swimming laps * just got better
^^
Swimming laps just got cheaper? Do these come with a pool or something?
@weaky6 Yes, and it is a HEART shaped pool.
@weaky6
thought these were already out. I wore a pair a couple of weeks ago at the Sony store. I'm in Canadia.
@weaky6
These are NOT waterPROOF. So swimming laps just got nothing.
Shiit!! must have bit before Cuba trip in 2 weeks
those dont looks like good fit for lap swimming to me... maybe just running during a rainy day?
Something I've been waiting for a long time....looks great no wires and will even sound great (looking at Walkman's track record and that I own one). Gonna be a great swimming companion.
... Heart design. Great for next Valentines day.
@Geaux I look at it and I feel like saying "Moon Prism Power!"
Oh no nerds in swimsuits coming to a pool near you! .. lol..
I'm kinda pissed after buying a first gen model of these and having they die due to sweat after like 3 months. The other deal breaker was that they had no screen, if only to see what was on there when you weren't wearing them, and lastly and most importantly, they didn't have playlist support.
@randyoaks187 My NWZ-W202 died after wearing it while working out 3 times because sweat got in and shorted it out somehow. Sony replaced it last year in the warranty period but that one just died last week in similar fashion. There's a recall in the US for it but not Canada so I think I'm screwed. Hopefully this version actually works because mine were great for working out, before they died.
Water resistant and Waterproof are different. I am guessing these are for sweating, not swimming.
@Zorat Certainly looks that way - shame.
@Zorat One of the press releases I found said you can wear them in the shower. Probably won't be supported in the pool, but won't stop someone from trying and letting us know if it works.
There were lots of complaints about the previous models dieing on people due to sweat from working out. So this is just a fix really. I'm glad though, if it weren't for the moisture issue I would've bought these already.
@meegoo
you mean someone actually bought the previous models??!!
I wonder why Sony is not releasing the bloody A847 worldwide, instead of spending time and money on crap like this
@meegoo So Sony "fixed" their product by forcing people to buy the newer model? ;)
Awwwwww It looks like a heart!! x x x
Very nice little thing.
are the included headphones wateproof?
These are defitently the iPhone killers. Lol. Oh and Tim Tebow sucks.
