dont know whether it being new and all, websites just dont render well on it. maybe ppl not got around to catering for it specifically, not sure if the setup has to be diff from opera mini on other platforms. cause if not then the rendering just plain sucks and it not gonna get better, it seems.

still gonna kick it with safari over wifi/3g

yea just to let u know data is way cheap here(india)

I wonder if anyone can track the rate at which applications are removed from iPhones as well because Opera Mini on the iPhone is awful awful stuff - which is probably the reason Apple approved it in the first place.

If you do not like Opera, that's fine, but for those people that whine and just say it sucks, grow up. Even if it does not suit you, lots of others love it, and you can at least give some constructive criticism.

Opera Mini is clearly for when you have a poor connection, i.e. Edge, or a bad 3G Network (i.e. AT&T). Opera has another browser (for other platforms) that would compare better to Safari.
