I used to own a Genesis. Its the black and the quick glance made me think of a Genesis controller over anything else...

Genesis controller dosent have anologe sticks or shoulder buttons,
here both Genesis/mega drive controllers

I mean seriously!? Are they selling more Wiis in Europe then they are here? If not why wouldnt they provide more options to the largest consumer first???!?
@benr The Wii had sold 20 Million units in the EU as of January 2010, in the US that figure was 13.4M in November 2009 (can't find any more up to date figures). So the market with more consumers and more consoles sold (probably) is the market that is getting it first. This is a rare experience for NA consumers I know, its why I buy stuff from you when I come over each summer.
Looks bloated
The fact that this cord is coming out the top and not the bottom is enough of a reason for me to want one. Whoever thought that making the cord on the original classic controller stick out of the bottom was a good idea needs to be smacked.
I really hope it feels right. The classic was bad. The l2/r2 buttons were horribly placed.
It comes bundled with monster hunter tri as well.

Trust me, I've tried this out and it is really comfy. Close to the 360 in terms of comfort. It lasted a continuous 6 hours no problem!

Just got the MH Tri bundle and wow is this a good controller! It's mass it right between the 360 (a bit heavy) and a Sixaxis (way too light) it's just right.
Tri is also wonderful, I've put about 1,200 hours into the series and already I'm liking all the changes they brought to this one.

@rocketsfan20 It works with all games the classic controller already works with, since it is exactly the same controller internally.

Seriously, why spend money on classic controllers when wireless gamecube controllers are so much better. 1) you don't have to plug them in the wii remote 2)they play gamecube games 3) you get 2 functions for the price of 1 (they play classic games and gamecube games)
Even the generic wireless gamecube controllers work great (i just bought 2, each one about $15 or $20) to replace my wavebirds after a B n E.

oh, and wireless gamecube controllers are also compatible with many wii games (like smash bros braw, metal slug anthology, etc) classic controllers should die!~bring back wireless gamecube controllers in retailers so people don't have to buy them on ebay lol.
@Wuvhandles they dont work with monster hunter tri. Ive tried it in the demo to no avail. not too many wii games have wavebird support

thats provided you can find a wavebird. i know a store that has a few used ones, but they're charging almost $30 for them
I have one of these and it is really annoying. The buttons have been moved around compared to the old Classic Controller but none of the games take this into account. As a result, you'll find you've got these shoulder buttons but they have the most ridiculous commands bound to them.
@Joanna D What? All that moved are the ZR/ZL buttons...how is that they the games have them mapped weird? If anything this makes the controller actually useable. Sounds to me that you actually LIKED how the ZR/ZL buttons had to be pressed with a third finger....
