I don't need flash. I've never encountered a single situation where I felt angry that Flash wasn't on my iPhone. And I DO visit espn and other sites that use Flash video.
But it doesn't bother me...why? Because I'm usually there to read news...and if I wanted to watch any video I usually go to Youtube.
So yeah I don't want the option and even if it were there I wouldn't use it.
Furthermore I fully believe Jobs is right in that it result in a horrible performance by the iPhone. So I'd rather he not put it there and then have millions of not as informed people download it and blame Apple for their phones running slow as shit and the extremely short battery life.
I'm not sure why you guys don't get this opinion. Its my opinion but its a valid one and its one held by many people.
Just like I firmly believe that mulittasking isn't that big a deal. Apple could have release iPhone OS 4.0 without multitasking and people would still be buying the next iPhone 4G in droves.
You Apple Haters haven't forced Apple to do a single thing. Apple has its own timeline and it makes the decisions about its products. As is their right.
@TheLondonExchange You have a point, what the fools on here don't understand is that not everyone is as well informed about tech as those that read on here. If apple made it available on the phone majority of people would have it, and that would ruin the phone.
Furthermore google aren't just making it available to the user, they are making it NATIVE! they are forcing you to have it, that's not really choice! You are all assuming a plugin like clicktoflash or flashblock will appear, firstly I doubt it, secondly how many average users will know about plugins like this - none! Steve and even MS understand this, majority of their users will not be able to handle the beast that is flash, and will spil their user experience and ultimately blame apple or MS.
In other words flash will be running constantly on your android phone whilst u browse the web and it will ruin it. I look forward to the downfall of android and the foolish nerds getting it wrong again.
During his WWDC keynote, Steve Jobs touted iCloud as a service that will sync many of your Apple devices, for free. Macs, iPhones, iPads, and even Windows computers can synchronize documents, contacts, calendar appointments, and other data.

God I can't wait to see this hot mess play out on the droid, nexus one, and other android phones....
As an iPhone user I don't want Flash. I don't care. i don't even want the option.
And its hilarious that BOTH MS and Apple agree on how horrible Adobe Flash is...
So much for the Apple Haters...
@TheLondonExchange
You need a rehab from the brain wash of Steve. Which Android user doesn't want more function is simply an Apple fertilizer.
@TheLondonExchange I bet if there was a flash plugin for your iPhone you would download it
@psp888

@sl86
See box where flash video should be, click and activate flash.
Real hard and resource consuming, huh?
