iPad 3G jailbroken on video: same as it ever was (on the WiFi model)

You may find yourself holding onto an iPad 3G. You may find yourself not able to stream ABC player. You may tell yourself, I think I need to break some rules. You may ask yourself, will I be able to use the same Spirit software that jailbreaks my WiFi model? You may ask yourself, well, did I backup my SHSH blobs? @Dustin This is awesome! Though we probably wont's see it until the iPhone 4G comes out... Don't want apple patching up those hardware/software bugs on their new shiny device.

Just for the record I encourage jailbroken to open your device and bring out it's full potential. I don't however encourage piracy it's unfortunate that if your phone is jailbroken everyone assumes you pirate.

@futurerheza If the dev team were to release now, they would then have to deal with 100's of people like you a month from now wining and crying because your iPhone 4G isn't jailbroken. Be patient they have there reasons for waiting.

@IchigoKyger There's also the international release which MANY people are waiting for, that includes me (Canada). I hope that they'll wait for the iPhone 4G, at least the International iPad which should be released around the end of May... :(

This us the sad truth all my iPhones have been jb mostly for the customization why apple won't let you change themes is beyond me. And the sbs settings are a god send process killer, ram usage display, and up until recently the actual batt percentage...apple is so far behind with the iPhone it doesn't make any sense

@Wes Steele I hope that this will bring a lot more features to the iPad as it does on the iPods & iPhones. I own an iPod Touch 3G and I woudn't live w/o a jailbreak. SBSettings and iFile are way too important for me!

I also hope for more fonts for Pages. There aren't enough fonts for proffesionals to work with. Of course Pages is not yet complete (missing word count, page count, footnotes, etc...) but I don't think Apple will add more fonts. The only way that would be possible is if Apple would release a MAJOR release to Pages that would include the "iFont Store".

I just wanted to raise a huge middle finger to the asshats who keep releasing videos of these jailbreaks but refuse to release any of the code. It's one thing to hack something for personal use, absolutely respectable. But to flaunt it all over the net in video after video promising a release is just ridiculous.

They're holding onto the jailbreak until iPhone OS 4.0 and the next iPhone this summer so they'll have a jailbreak for the new OS and device immediately. This is a software flaw this jailbreak is exploiting, not hardware, so Apple could easily fix it if they found out what it is.

Not really sure how that could be accomplished on a device that doesn't have a usb port! Oh yeah and the ipod touch and iphone are not compatible with the Ipad...Cause that just makes so much sense! I see why people would want to get one!! But seriously I don't understand how anyone that does even a little research could ever still want to get the Ipad! Even a complete die hard apple loyalist that I know couldn't deny it was a complete waste of money and returned his!! The end of the iPad cable is a USB connector. The end of the camera connection kit (which is also working for any USB device that has driver support) is USB.
